Hey guys, this is one retarded guestion,or inquirey, but i've seen this PB in the stores that has like 20 grams of protein per TSPN, but it's saturate it peanut oil.Just wondering if it's healthy to make it part of my regular lifting diet?
probably more like 5 g of protein? Natural peanut butter isn't bad. You can put it on apples for a snack or toast for carbs. Good for bulking and you can put it in your shake, but since I don't use a blender I've never done that before.
Paenut butter has 28g of protein per hundred.let me start by talking about my new theory which has been a long time coming.
PROTEIN IS THE MOST OVERRATED NUTRIENT. i say this because once you have hit maybe 250g a day then you are in surplace.Your aim as a bodybuilder is not to eat as much protein as possible, it is merely to keep a positive nitrogen balance because your body makes the aminos for muscle rather than using what our diet provides.FAT however is the most underrated nutrient as increased fat in diet leads to higher test levels.
Peanut butter has alot of fat but its mono unsaturated(good fat).
This is good if you want to build muscle or even drop a few pounds. Peanut butter is more convenient than having olive oil because it can be spread on many things.
Studies also show that peanut butter can raise test levels.
It will only help u out and it is concentrated in L-Arginine(can you say natural viagra lol).
only eat peanut butter if you want to gain muscle, lose fat, and get harder erections lol

A state we all want to be in!
i dont think thats true that fat increases test levels. if you have very low amounts of fat (under 10 grams a day) then you can lower your test levels by alot. but its not true that increasing fat will increase test. i will believe that when i see a study
i dont have to prove myself but heres a mini essay to support my findings:
Now I don't pretend to be able to give a full coverage of such a huge topic in an article. Let us focus on some
basic physiology of our tiny but most important adrenal glands, a.k.a., the stress glands.
the adrenal glands, bean sized glands that site on top of our kidneys, have many, many functions. Herein we shall limit ourselves to an introductory discussion of two of the most important adrenal hormones, cortisol and DHEA.
DHEA (DeHydroEpiAndrosterone) is the most abundant anabolic steroid in the body. Anabolic means "constructive metabolism". It is made from cholesterol, which is converted into pregnenolone, which is then converted into the more familiar hormones, DHEA or progesterone. (This is one reason why a very low cholesterol may not be healthy.) DHEA can be converted to androstenedione, which in turn can be turned into testosterone.
so as we can see to sum up cholesterol=higher test levels.
You can thank me later
Enough said!
