Did some mowing and housework today then a mate and I headed off to the beach,water was great,enjoyed a surf then had a couple of beers at a pub on the way home.
Pretty lazy day but very relaxing and i thoroughly enjoyed it,now going to plant some tomatoes,basil and ginger.

Little less than an hour til midnight. Am working on getting sh!tfaced, have a cockatoo sitting on my shoulder atm. Momentarily the parrots will be put down for the night and hubby and I will go listen to some tunes for a bit, then call it a night. Since our gym is closed tomorrow (lazy bastages) I'm gonna download one of those one week free coupons from teh interwebz at either worlds or 24 and work out, perhaps change gyms as I'm sick to death of the one I'm at now.

New Year's Day here--okay, it was New Year's day about sixteen hours ago--and already did the shrine visit, went to see my in-laws and their neighbors (custom to visit the neighbors) and ate a lot. Now, the children are playing Super Mario and the wife is passed out in the other room. Fun day. Happy New Year!

And what about oregano? You can't have tomatoes and basil without the oregano!!! LOL One goes with the other. Fresh tomatoes on a platter with some onion, basil and oregano, olive oil splashed all over the top is one hell of a wonderful salad! A little sea salt and some freshly cracked pepper. Doesn't get any better!

You need to start a journal Geoff and you can tell us those sorts of stories all the time but support it with pics of the ocean too

The day planned is big breakfast, dog walk, horse ride, possibly visit a few friends, lovely dinner of lamb shank and mash planned with a DVD to fall asleep to later
