Yeah man, go for it! I'd like to get 12+, though. 9 @ 160 just feels weak brahs. I feel ashamed typing it up.
This isn't a bench workout, but it involves pressing + my shoulders which are definitely a large part of this bench routine.

Kinked something in my right shoulder from Parkour yesterday (I think). Started really bugging me once I began working out and just got progressively worse with each set so I decided to keep it really short... PP and Shrugs only... I'm gonna use this week as a pretty light week aside from the two bench days I'm supposed to have. Been sore as FK lately so I could use the low volume with all the cardio i've been doing.
I'm typing this 12 hrs post WO and everything feels dandy right now.

But you are not putting any pressure or stres on it now, when you are sitting on your a$$ typing.. If you feel discomfort when lifting, STOP, and do really light weight or exercises that doesn't cause pain, like say flies and pushups for a chest workout in stead of bench and dips
Taking any chances is NOT worth it, unfortunately, I learned that the hard way..450/330/540 raw

Well, yes, but it doesn't/didn't hurt to raise my arm and lift **** like it did PWO. I honestly think part of my pain is because I've been neglecting lateral raises/rear delts lately. I have 20 lbs at my house so I'll do some delt flies/raises

My last set was absolutely HORRID. I was going waaay too fast, lost balance a few reps, lost count etc etc. Pretty sure I nailed out 10 lol. But on a positive note, the work sets @ 170 went great!! Rested shorter than both of last week's sets, and still got 'em. I bet I can hit 170 x 6 MAYBE 7 fresh at the moment. Next week my work sets will be with 180, which should have me rolling in PR's every bench day.

Freakin' owned these dem dere sets. Warmups felt heavy as fuu but once I turned on Hollywood Undead the worksets felt great!! This was also after one day of rest (bench rest that is, I deadlifted yesterday).

Finally adding weight to my work sets. Good stuff. Repping out 180 feels good... can't wait 'til it's 185+. Oh and this was technically 185 x 6... come at me Foxie jk brah.

--attempted to work with faster negatives on the last set and just keep a solid cadence but I went a little too fast this time. Disappointed with 180x6... wanted 7 today. Oh also while I was benching 180x6 I yelled out F*CK SH*T really loud on the 6th rep. Everybody started cracking up. They were all adults also lol

Did a lot of talking and spotted this one guy heavy benching + going past failure so didn't have much mental focus and energy. I thought my workout would turn out a lot better since i've had a really good day but I guess not. Oh well lol. Next week's AMRAP's are going to be with 160. My goal is 160 x 14-15 by the end of next week.

The 180 work sets felt easy as shiiit. I didn't rest long enough between 180 and 160 but I was SO close to 12 reps... I'm KINDA counting this as a PR because if you watch my other video, I hardly got it off my chest on the 12th attempt. Don't hate me 'cause i'm beautiful. Next week is 190(well... 195) for my AMRAP!
I worked out with my friend Alec again and he was really working on bench form today. Last time he mainly worked on leg drive, but now I got him to arch and really slide the bar out with his lats so he doesn't waste energy. His form was pretty damn solid minus his 200 maxout when his elbows flared... his bench has shot up 20 lbs in two workouts. I R Prowd
