Need help figuring out this macro stuff

    I'm 25 years old, 5'10'', 180 lbs

I'm looking to cut down slowly. So I'm planning on eating about 2400 calories.
    Which looks more correct?

    a.) 180g protein/180g carbs/107g fat
    b.) 240g protein/120g carbs/107g fat
    c.) 180g protein/300g carbs/53g fat

In the end all of them equate to 2400 calories which I think is the most important.
But which of them is the best to maximize muscle gains/retention and fat loss?

Calculate your maintenance calories... Figure if its actually correct by monitoring it for a couple of weeks ... then reduce 500 calories from it to lose about 1 lb per week..

as for macros .. aim for:

    0.4g of fat per lb
    1g of protein per lb
and fill the rest with carbs or whichever macro nutrient you prefer

That's the short version .. for a better, comprehensive version, take a look at the stickies..
