So I bought Complete Nutrition's Titan Protein and will be done with it here a week or so. I have been figuring out which protein I should get next. The CN protein has whey protein isolate and concentrate plus egg protein, micellar casein and calcium caseinate. It also has 1.5g flax seed and 10.7g glutamine. I haven't had any problems with it other than the taste isn't great, it's a little chunky (both not really a big deal) and it costs $79.99
Anyways, I have been searching around the forum here and found out the popular ones are BSN-Syntha 6, Optimum 100% Whey, Myofusion.
My question is: is the CN protein good stuff? I like how there is 265 calories per serving and 45g of protein. Here is a link: http://www.completenutrition.com/SNP...hp?prod_id=126
The Optimum 100% Casein Protein only has 120 calories per scope and 24g of protein. I'm figuring since I'm bulking and weigh 211lbs the more calories and protein I can get would be better.
I have read that the slow digesting proteins are good especially throughout the day and are nice when you're sleeping as you are continually absorbing protein throughout the night.
I'm not sure if I am over thinking this whole "which protein" decision. I'm just trying to understand what I'm buying and what would be best for me.
So my questions are: Is the CN protein good? Are the slower absorbing proteins worth the extra money? If I can get the CN protein for ~$65 would it be worth it to continue using it? And am I missing another popular protein that has casein in it?
