Agree...even though I seem to use it in everything haha. It doesn't really taste like caramel, more like butterscotch or burnt sugar.

Have you tried anything else from WF? I was going to try the chocolate syrup next, but maybe the dips would be better to melt and pour over? The syrups seem more convenient though.

Will def try the maple syrup if I see it next time, last time they were out

I've tried the cinnamon raison spread, chocolate syrup, and thick/spicy bbq sauce
spread wasnt that great, syrup was pretty good but very sweet (mixed with 0% plain greek yogurt and tasted awesome), and sauce was good but had to use a lot of it

I've had the chocolate syrup and thought it wasn't that great although very tolerable! It has a chemical aftertaste to me, but when mixed with certain things it can masked the chemical taste..

It seems like the thing most people rave about is their pancake syrup! I hear nothing but really good things about it..

^^^ only real thing worth buying from WF is the pancake syrup IMO. But at almost 5$ a jar, just generic SF syrup is much more appealing.

CS has been my favorite flavor of the Cullucor powders that I have sampled thus far, and has probably been my top powder. CnC and the PBM were solid, but didn't compare to CS in my opinion. I'm also working on Trutein's Peanut Butter Cup and it's probably my 2nd favorite powder. Great smell, taste, and mixability.

I was going to post this in MEN, but I used Cellucor CS so thought it would be appropriate here...and this page could use some more pics..

My first ever successful batch of protein pancakes, and I had to do it on the bbq as well...I was pretty happy to say the least

    Pancakes:
3/4 cup kashi 7 whole grain puffs (grinded into powder)
    175g egg whites
    26g cellucor CS
    25g 0% plain greek yogurt
    1tsp baking powder

    Toppings:
25g 0% plain greek yogurt with 8g cellucor PBM mini sludge
    1/3 banana
    cinnamon

Pancakes came to <300 cal (including cooking spray), and toppings came to <100 cal

I'm just starting to make sludges. I have a pretty big choice of variety of cereals cinnabon, cinn toast crunch, reeses puffs, hersh cnC as well as CnC cellucor protein powder and other mix ins, however I seem to not get a good base to put it in. I tried CC with GY and I hate the texture in it. Some reason I cant stand the taste of CC anymore. Any tips and strategies to make a good sludge base?

Also where is this WF syrups at? I looked at the grocery store and wal mart and nothing.

Not Sludge but definitely a protein concoction! 31g of pure protein deliciousness Best thing I have made in a long time! I call it Cookie Dough Cereal...

The bowl could barely hold it all. It included a cup of rice krispies cereal, 7g chocolate krave cereal chopped, 1 caramel choco chip rice cake crumbled, 7 chopped almonds, unsweetened desiccated coconut, 7g mini chocolate chips (enjoy life brand), 1/2 a banana sliced, 1 baked Quest Cookie Dough Bar(best part!) & a tbsp of almond butter drizzled on top(definitely necessary!) all inside a bowl of cold unsweetened vanilla almond milk. This was out of this world! I loved it.

They're all decent, but NOTHING compared to the maple syrup. They have the "chemical after taste" that's pretty nasty.

See, I've had trutein PB Cup and cinnabun.. but I think cellucor is taking the torch for the top Protein Powder.. trutein was good.. but I think it was just a phase. haha

I tried CC with GY and I hate the texture in it. Some reason I cant stand the taste of CC anymore. Any tips and strategies to make a good sludge base?

Also where is this WF syrups at? I looked at the grocery store and wal mart and nothing.
They sell the "Wall plaster" (peanut butter spread) at walmart, but not the syrups.. you can probably find it at your local whole foods.

Most "Health Food" stores sell Walden Farms, or you can buy online (BB.com sells it), but most of their products suck or just aren't worth the price.

Silly question, but when you guys add PB to your sludge, do you melt it first? And if so, how?

Fridge will thicken up as it sits.

I just bought the WF caramel dip...too chemically too me, although it's ok when mixed in. Do people have this issue with the caramel syrup? Probably looking to try the pancake syrup next or some other SF syrup.

Also - Any suggestions on crunchy, low cal mix-ins? I love cereal and nuts, but I find that a lot of them are too high-cal for me. Puffed cereal is too soft...I like a satisfying crunch! I've also tried fiber one twigs (bleh). Thanks in advance guys!
