Don't post in here much, but I started making this "hot protein sludge/cake".. it's got the consistency of thick oatmeal, but it's still got a sludge base.. Tastes DELICIOUS.
- .5 scoops of Cellucor Whey
- 1-2 tablespoons of Pancake Mix
- .5 servings SF Jello
- Add Water
Throw in the microwave for 1:00-1:30... Make sure it doesn't "boil over" in the microwave, it tends to do that.. but srs it tastes delicious. Not really sure if it's already been "invented" or not, but I thought I'd post..
With SF syrup

Not sure. I haven't tried the iforce yet, and honestly, I may never deviate from TruTein. As for the shamrock shake, it's very good, but it is strong. Almost needs a packet of
sweetener per scoop when mixed with regular milk or UVAB. Jello mix definitely helps, too, but it has a great, great flavor.
Tonight:
2 scoops Pumpkin Pie Trutein
1 cup UVAB
1/4 pkg SF vanilla jello
Splash of water
Topped with
1 Frozen Mapley Brown Sugar Oatmeal Delight Pop Tart
1 Hot Fudge Sundae Pop Tart
1 cup Cinnabon Cereal
1 100cal Klondike Ice Cream Sandwich

I originally started with 1/2 cup of milk, 2 scoops of protein powder (used hexapro, it's a combination powder with casein in it, couldn't get ON 100% casein), and 100 g on frozen fruit. Didn't work after 15 minutes, so that's when I added the egg whites and peanut butter.
So I'm not sure exactly what I did wrong.
On a side note, is a stand up mixer really required? I use a hand one, if it matters.
*Shrug* I enjoyed it.
Edit: SUCCESS!

Beautiful success.
Need some suggestions to go with this shamrock shake. All I can really think of is chocolate. I like adding fruit, but I'm not sure what'd really go with it. Anywho..
2 scoops Trutein Shamrock Shake
1 cup UVAB
1/4 pkg SF Chocolate Pudding mix
little bit of guar gum
Frozen for ~30 minutes while eating dinner
Topped with
100cal Klondike ice cream sammich
90cal Fiber One choco brownie
1 cup each of Chocolate Krave, Smorz and Cookie Krisp
WF choco sauce
again, suggestions with the shamrock shake?Last edited by tf13; 04-25-2013 at 09:53 PM.

Its mostly WPI, i would suggest not trying to fluff the cellucor whey and stick to On Casein

hey bob,
i tried to make some fluff the way you did in your youtube vid but didnt turn out that good at all.
granted, i did use a handheld mixer which could be part of the problem but have you changed up that recipe?
i used:
3 egg whites
40g casein
1/2 cup almond milk
150g frozen strawberries
it ended up looking like this...
thinking about investing in a standing mixing soon so that should help a little bit.Iron & Ice Cream.

This is probably super obvious/standard for you pros, but I learned something today that makes things quite a bit easier and better - basically mixing the "soft" ingredients (just FFGY+whey for me, but probably pb2 & jello as well for many of you other guys) together first before tossing in the "extra" stuff (cereal & frozen berries for me) afterwards. Much easier than trying to catch all the powder in once all the mix-ins are in the bowl.
