Our Christmas bonus was quite generous this year.
Between it and some creative budgeting I:

Got a new, faster laptop,
Have the bux for a new gym membership (better place),
and SHOULD have enuf to see the optometrist for new contacts.

Good for you. I did not receive a bonus this year since I did not work a full year with them. Even though I worked there for six years prior to taking three years to stay at home with my son.

well I just discovered my son decided to make confetti out of my money that was on my desk. I'm not sure if I should be thankful he only knicked the 20 or be pissed that my ones look like yesterday's wrapping paper.

My Mom lives only a few miles away and I haven't been to her house in over 15 years.

My two youngest kids have never been there. Weird eh?

The cologne smells good, but it tastes funny. So I'll wear it.

Two 15 year old boys occupy the man cave.

They don't allow me down there.

Even though it's MY TV, MY stereo, and MY computer.







But it's OK because the laundry room is dangerously close to the man cave, and I try to stay as far away from there as possible.

Normally I am able to find some used stuff from Play It Again Sports, however they did not have anything today. They did not have any kettlebells in the 60 pound range so I walked out with a 50 pound dumbell. I asked one of the young cashiers if he would carry it out to the car for me. He looked at me as if he did not want to do it (maybe he was not able), but before he picked it up I told him I was just kidding.
