Im having waves of anxiousness some weeks and feel really beta
I was wondering is it low serotonin or low dopamine that causes this...???
my experiment:
1.I took molly , which stimulates your serotonin and I still felt the beta vibes in my body
BUT NOT
2.when I took the 'white snow' I was totally at cool and ease and did not feel any beta waves in my body...
does that mean I am lacking in dopamine?
whats the best supplement to take to increase dopamine?

L-Tyrosine is the dopamine precursor
To answer your question, no it isn't. Higher dopamine can increase adrenaline and motivation, so it makes you more capable of plowing through anxiety and depression, but it's not the fix.
It's really a combination of chemical balance that beats anxiety and depression. If you want to beat anxiety specifically, you want something that acts on GABA.

This. Former neuroscience student checking in. Can confirm. For some reason the general public fixates on single chemical elements of the brain itself and uses them as buzzwords like "dopamine" (it used to be serotonin) and thinks everything from behavioral addictions to happiness itself comes from them. Brb don't fap because it lowers your dopamine, brb cheese is addictive because eating it creates a dopamine response, brb dopamine helps motivate people so a lack of dopamine makes you depressed. TLDR: FUK NO OP! DOPAMINE IS ONE ELEMENT OF AN EXTREMELY COMPLEX ORGAN THAT EVEN TOP RESEARCHERS BARELY UNDERSTAND, LET ALONE ARMCHAIR NEUROSCIENTISTS & FUKING RED MISCERS!

Depression and anxiety being regarded as being caused by chemical imbalances is mid 20th century psychiatry. People are seeing significant success with therapies that alter how you approach situations, and what your internal state is and how to monitor that. Since there is some success with meds, but also success with things like meditation, DBT and mindfulness and cognitive therapies as well, these conditions have entered a chicken and egg situation. Hardcore proponents of prior models swear that a chemical imbalance causes depression, whereas newer and at least equally effective models argue that depression and anxiety based on psychological dysfunctions actually result in the perceived chemical imbalances.
Meds and ssri medications in particular are a bandaid, often a lifelong one. The therapies that work to correct cognitive dysfunctions are more long lasting. For very severe cases, a combination of both is indicated. Unless an individual is acutely suicidal, the cognitive therapies might be a better starting point considering the Meds come with some hefty, long term side effects.

Try ones that act on GABA like Benzos and Phenibut but I highly don't recommend as they are highly addictive
or try ones that influence GABA like Theanine and Kava Kava Root
I personally recommend trying the precursors, which are L-Glutamine and Taurine. Best if taken in an Amino Acid Complex, which seems to be highly overlooked for whatever reason. Taking an Amino Acid Complex that has Tyrosine (precursor to dopamine), Tryptophan (precursor to serotonin), and Glutamine and Taurine (precursors to GABA) are the most effective. Balance is the key.

i tried all kinds of group therapy, puking, screaming all types of weird stuff and anything you can imagine .. it just always wears off after some time... i always get back to some form of anxiousness with people...
I do not think negative about me Im totally cool when im with myself just when with other people Im getting weird vibes in my body...
it must be my chemical body coctail

I Know the misc loves to hate no fap. I've been doing it all of 2017 though and I've noticed one huge difference. I have a constant dopamine buzz throughout the day. It's as though instead of the massive release its just dripped in all day. I just woke up and feel like I had some sugar/coffee or something. This is what you're supposed to feel like. 0 anxiety. For years I just felt nothing or "brain clouds".
Could be placebo but I don't care. Feel great.it piss

If one of the neurotransmitters are out of whack you'll probably feel like chit regardless. The key is balance.

To fix depression, find the cause of it.
Maybe its lack of friends, living in a bumfuk town, lack of social interaction, dead end job, no qualifications. Whatever it is, fix it and the depression will go away.

Neurobro reporting in.
No, no it's not the major cause. There is a raging debate going on for mulitple decades as to what chemical imbalances actually cause it. This is why psychiatrists have such a large toolbox and tend to cycle through things until something sticks.brb neuroscience

Dopamine will cure depression and anxiety but that doesn't mean low dopamine was the cause of your depression and anxiety. It is just overpowering it with it's effects. That's what I think at least.
