I bought some non-non-fat cottage cheese this last time I went to the store as a means of indulgence. Honestly, I don't know if it is just me or the years of eating non-fat cottage cheese, but it did not taste good. Sure it was a bit creamier, but it just did not appeal to me to be eaten alone like I normally would. Its tasty drastically improved when I threw a handful of toasted granola in though...

fair enough, as long as you are getting your minimum requirement that is not an issue either. It's all personal preference and what works for you... lots of carbs do not work for me (make me tired and lethargic etc..) so i eat more fats and enough carbs that i can function properly...helps i like the taste of fat as well.
