Just a quick question, I want to add deads to my routine since I love em but I haven't done em in a while. Do I add em to back day or leg day? Not really sure since it works damn near everything, lol.

I think they should be done on your back day (if you have one) just to separate them from squats so that you can put max effort into both lifts.
Strength + Speed = Power
If you never fail, you aren't truly pushing yourself to the limit. If you never push yourself to the limit, how do you know what you're truly capable of?

I wouldn't say he's wrong. The Deadlift (when done correctly) works the Glutes, Hamstrings, Quads, Hip flexors, and pretty much the rest of the lower body just as much as it works the back/lower back. So actually it can be put into either leg or back day depending on your split. Most "bodybuilders" tend to throw it in on back day, but it's not wrong to also consider it a lower body exercise as well.
Personally it all depends on my workouts for the week. If I happen to get stuck doing Back right before my Leg day I will actually save them for another workout and either do them on Leg Day or sometimes even on their own day just to push max effort. Dumb lower back injury makes it difficult to do dead lifts on day 1 and leg workout on day 2 without discomfort. My lower back still needs more time to recover then the rest of my body.
Ultimately, it doesn't matter where you fit them in as long as you're fitting them in

I'm going of what I've read from Layne Norton
I do deadlifts on leg day. The back is used as more of a stabilizer muscle when doing deadlifts, it is not really a primary mover. Most of the lifting is actually done by the leg muscles. Since the back is a stabilizer muscle when doing deadlifts and squatting movements, it only makes sense to do deadlifts on leg day

load of broscience up in here. Bottom line is that there are two muscle groups working in a synergy on opposite sides of the pelvis. They both get hit hard to accomplish spinal extension. As far as stabilizing... the iliocostalis lumborum is doing a lot of moving brah just like the hams.

Sweet, I was thinking of putting them in back day, just because I already do SLDL's on leg day for hams. I could have changed those to regular deads, though, which is why I made this thread.
Didn't think of that, I have my back day right before my leg day. Guess I'll try it to see if it has any detrimental effects on my lifts. If it does, I'll have to rearrange some days.
Never heard it explained so well. +rep!5'6
