Christmas: How many days can you be out of keto?

Right, I hope you lot being don't think I'm being silly here. But heck it's Christmas and time to enjoy! I have been on keto for the past 3-4 months so my body is well and truly adapted using fat as energy.

Now I plan to start my carb up xmas eve night, right through until boxing day night (my longest carb up yet, usually do 12-16 hours) - no doubt taking in alot of calories/carbs ect cause its the holiday season.

This is fine but My question is how easily will my body get back into ketosis after this? Will I require to do the '2 week introduction zero carb' again?

I'm on a CKD bulk btw (would be stressin much more if I was cuttin)
    My log here - http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...hp?t=130128783

    Merry Christmas to all!

You'll probably be ok, try it and if you're not in keto in 3 days skip the first carb up or at least keep it shorter.

Heavy leg day with maybe a little liss session afterwards guarantees me ketosis the next day, not sure about other people, give it a try.

P.s it works even if I've done a monster carb up

Cheers for the replies guys. Heck im not gonna worry too much, but it will be new year the following carb up, leaving me just 4 days between them both in keto.

Considering short depletion/morning cardio on these days..or does that defeat the point of energy refill?

dont work out on your refeed... if you do then eat more to cover what your expending... time frame between out of ketosis and in ketosis will depend on you, and how long you have been doing keto.. the longer you on keto the easier it is to go back.. even if you take months to a year or so off..
