Please comment without being rude. How does someones sexual orientation mean so much to people. What people do in a bedroom shouldn't matter right?

I am reading it now for class (srs)
Bob Paris became famous as the first openly gay Mr. Universe and grew even more famous when he and Rob Jackson, his lover at the time, published Straight from the Heart, a memoir of their life together. Paris has now gone solo with Gorilla Suit. A cross between a personal memoir and a cultural history of bodybuilding, Gorilla Suit details Paris's desire to radically change his body, what that meant to him as a gay man living in a homophobic culture, and his decision to leave the sport once he discovered how seductive its destructive qualities were. Gorilla Suit is not an emotionally wrought literary memoir, or even a tell-all exposé; rather, it is a well-written, perceptive, and ultimately joyful story of a gay man's discovery of what it means to love his body. --This text

It ever occur to you that people are meant to be straight? Religon aside you cant carry on a population if you are a homo.
What are these things? Besides a bunch of guys shootin **** and saying "check out that bitches ass". I cant really think of any as far out there as gay pride, lisps, men wearing womens cloathing etc.

It occurs as a result of something going wrong. The goal of a animal is to pass on its genes you cant do that through homosexuality.
My problem with homos is when they go overboard with gay pride, talking ****gy, acting ****gy. But lettuce be reality homosexuality is not a positive thing when it occurs in nature.

Honestly I don't agree with or like their lifestyle, and yes The Bible says that it is a sin. I also sin every day though so I will not stand in judgement of them. I do believe that if a man can actually say that he is sexually interested in other men then it is his responsibility to control those urges. I actually have friends that are gay so we just disagree on how to live our lives. I believe there are proper ways to act and behave while in public so I do not appreciate over the top gay men with the clothes and the loud talking interrupting my night, just as much as I do not appreciate white guys with pants hanging off their ass and their hats turned sideways pretending to be from the hood. I'm not a pro body builder tho, that's just how I feel about it.

As i stated before to be a postive to a species in nature you must be able to procreate. Homos cant procreate. Im not sure if you are just a butthurt homo or an idiot but my statement is as simple as it gets but i will restate it again. Homosexuality occurs in nature yes but it is not a positive. Natures goal is to procreate with the strongest individuals. Homos cant procreate therefore being no good to nature. Its the same as a female that cant reproduce. Something got ****ed up along the way. My opinion is that in this day and age most homos are not true homos but maybe had questioned their sexuality and were told it is ok to be gay and had it reinforced by the media.

You irate that its called a negative trait brah? I work with plant genetics plants are the easiest to see negative and positive traits in. Plants that cant withstand nature or produce seeds are no good to us or nature. I can tell you have no education on this subject as you are argueing against the first basic principle of gentics/breeding. Take a plant breeding/animal breeding course then a few genetics classes then come back and look at your statements.

One of the current hypothesis about the possible evolutionary origins of evolution is just that, that non mated adult males are able to increase the survivability of the group.
If you don't like gay people, whatever, but don't spew your pseudoscience as fact.
Your statement that "its only because it allows the alpha males to reproduce" just belies you emotional attachment, and lack of scientific objectivity on the subject.http://youtube.com/user/Kiknskreem

Iv worked breeding corn since i was kid (dad has a PhD in genetics so i tagged along since i was rly young designed my first breed with his help at 8 (it didnt go anywhere lulz)). Evolution in nature is meant to make the population the strongest if you cant admit this then gtfo. Evolution such as you and I create in a man made enviorment does include traits that may be negative in certain aspects of nature but become positives for our use. Example since you dont provide any. We use corn that is short and stable but has a low yield because of its size (size is a negative as it reduces yield). When bred with a tall lanky high yielding planting (tall lanky a negative as nature can destroy it) it you end up with the F1 hybrid. From there through selective breeding you end up with a high yielding stable plant.
