Not a smart move IMO. After the re-raise you should have folded without a doubt. Why risk going out on the bubble on a 60-40 coinflip. And you could have damn well been easily beaten. What were you expecting him to call with and you be ahead at least 70-30? You wouldn't fold out a strong ace or anything better by going all in, and apparently that guy was feelin ballsy with his flush draw that paid off. sorry dude

It wasn't my best move the problem was that I needed to make a move soon and I definantly didn't give him credit for an Ace. I figured he may have gotten lucky and and flopped 2 pair or have the exact hand he had there with the club draw. Blinds were 5k and 10k and I had like 30-40k going in. So I commited the extra 5k to call the BB. So i was down to like 20-30 k. I bet 10k into the pot of 15k. Leaving me with only 1-2 blinds if I folded. It makes a lot more sense once I put the money in there. If I win the pot, that I' felt like I was ahead in, then I have enough money to make the money and to make a great plays around the bubble to make some extra money. Just lost the favorable coinflip.

I'm not seeing the problem with this move here. The most questionable part of it was flat calling with the ace I suppose but it seems like the all-in move is a good move here. I get a little bit of fold equity and I thought I was ahead already if he were to call.
Maybe I'm worng... what would have been the ideal play have been here?THE AWARE

if im reading this right then you each invested $29 before the river came .. so you had roughly $56 left behind going to the river. If he hits his flush his implied odds are that he stacks you. That's actually standard. The fact that you call in that spot makes his implied odds really good. Calling your $15 raise to hit 9 outs to win $180 pot .. ish?

Lol, it was mainly the "live poker" talk by fishy people. eg: 'I had a feeling' instead of talking about ranges and your equity against that range.
Then letting your M get to like below 2. When your M is to, then only completing in the SB with a card higher than a J, rofl instead of shoving.
Then being worried when you flop TP with an M of like 1.
And how is TP against a naked flush draw a coinflip? rofl
Also the random use of UTG that doesn't even fit, "doubling my bet", "setting a trap" with KK OTB, etc

I'm sure this has been asked before but which gaems on FT are good for practicing/getting better?
I'm really bad at $5 sup turbos and multi table/ 2+ hour long games. The $1 and $2 seem too easy that it's boring.. it's full of donks since nobody really cares about losing a dollar.1k.

Hey I never claimed to be a professional of any sorts
-My M got that low because I actually lost an all-in hand in the BB the previous hand with AKo. SB limped I raised him all-in. He called my raise with a small pair and he faded all my outs. I was all-in on the very next hand. Not to mention the quick blind structures make it very difficult to progress your stack as fast as the blinds progress. Start out with 10k, blinds start at 100/200 and almost double every 15 minutes.
100/200
200/400
400/800
500/1000
1st hr
1000/2000
2000/4000
4000/8000
5000/10000
2nd hr
Tough blind settings when you figure at best 30-40 hands an hour.
-What's wrong with saying "I had a feeling" instead of talking about his range. Intuition is based of experience. You see a certain situation time and time again played out through different people over many years. Down the line you run into the same type of situation even though it's a completely different person. You can kind of get a sense of what he may be holding. You may be wrong you may be right. Right there I felt a draw. Coulda been a bigger ace or a whole multitude of hands since I let him check in the BB (I definantly shouldn't have done that I should have shoved... I definantly agree there. If I shove he probably folds that hands and I improve my M by 1.5.... I don't know why I was thinking limp then bet the flop)
-I wasn't worried about my TP vs. the flush draw just not too excited about going from a comfortable chip stack to possibly being knocked out if any club hits, right around the money, within 2 hands haha
-I was what Like a 65/35 favorite. Far from a coinflip but far from me feeling comfortable
Like I said not a professional. I thought I played pretty well. You're obviously a better player than I am and more than likely get to play way more often than I do too. I actually am a profitable player live Very small time but I actually have made a lil money playing poker. Nothing that justifies the hours I've played but it's way better than losing rightTHE AWARE

You guise ever report anyone for cheating/colliding?
2 people dominating a table constantly going back and forth. When one person would have a loss against someone else...the next hand or so they'd end up against the person and win the chips back. Win/Loss back and forth with the same people.
Can't really explain it other than that but it just didn't look right and it went on for a long time.1k.

sup poker brahs...haven't posted in these threads for months...anything new goin on? still try and hit up the casinos locally once in a while, but my goals have shifted much more to bulking up lately and playing poker for hours with no food kind of conflicts with it so i havent been playing nearly as much as i used to back in my 24 hours straight session days...gotta say i feel a lot better physically and also mentally to not be addicted as much anymore. still miss it tho and get the cravings every once in a while for live play.

Honestly at 100NL I've had a lot of run bad and play bad. The games aren't that much harder than 50NL and there are a lot of the same regs. A friend of mine, who is a winning midstakes player, has been coaching/staking me and he has been telling me to try to move up as fast as possible because he says I am definitely good enough to beat 100nl and 200nl as long as I can get my mental game in check.

nope only in PA and NJ...casino is less than 5 min from my house now which is bad news. the players are the exact OPPOSITE of nitty live...they call with anything preflop and I mean anything...even if it is 3 or 4 bet...call with ANY draw etc...there is money to be made if you are patient, but you get sucked out on a lot more often as people will even call a monster c-bet flop with A high ...it seems like they always assume you have nothing and A high is good...or they'll call u with like 22 and float the flop and end up rivering a set...happens quite often...but in general live is much easier and the players are very loose. you will know who the regs are after playing a few times and learn to go around the 9 PM-4AM hours when half the table is drunk and knows nothing about poker besides what hands beat what.
