doing SS at the moment
wondering what max OT is?
and madcow 5x5?
SS stats all 3x5 other than deadlift (1x5 )
bench 180
squat 215
deadlift 275
mil press 100
wide grip pull ups, body weight 175 + 25 lb plate, 3 sets till failure ( 8, 6, 4 )
trynna get to 215 bench everything else should follow to the 300's i think. or squat to 275 and DL to 300 sometin, maybe even 400 by that time.
what do u think i should progress too? something that has incline? + dips + curls? like the SS FAQ the dude adds in dips, curls. and i could toss in incline for myself.
Than what should i do? 3-5 day splits? pyramids? of w.e. madcows is or w.e. the max OT is?

"225, 315, 405 whatever. Yeah these benchmark digits come to mean a lot to us, the few warriors in this arena. They are, however, just numbers. I'm guilty of that sh*t too, waiting for somebody to powder my nuts cuz I did 20 reps of whatever the **** on the bench. Big f*king deal. It is all relative." G Diesel

Stick with SS. Eventually you can give Mad Cow's or Bill Starr's or something similar a run.
FYI, Max-OT is a workout system that focuses on the 4-6 rep range, 3 sets per exercise, and mostly compounds with each muscle group worked about once every 5-7 days. You'll likely get better results out of SS.Deathstroke and I list our most hilariously awful WCW moments (lots of gifs & vids; expect load time):

edit: You should definitely be able to run SS so that you hit and exceed your goals (most people seem to top out with 1RM squats in the mid to upper 300s and bench in the mid 200s), just make sure your diet is solid and you are getting enough sleep.Deathstroke and I list our most hilariously awful WCW moments (lots of gifs & vids; expect load time):

isnt the military press the one where ur standing? feet shoulder width, bar starts at ur chest u push it up, and u move your body just slightly i think riptoes said like 6 degrees to barely get the bar past your face, than u push all the way up and fully extend and ur traps should flex and w.e., and the bar should align with the spine.
I thought that was the miltary press. . .
and thats whats in his video in the FAQ...
unless you want me to do Seated press????

No.
Military is a just what I said it was earlier.
*Standing
*Barbell
*Strict Form
*Heels together
*Possibly with your back to a wall.
People very often and incorrectly refer to any and all overhead presses as military. This could not be more incorrect, but it is so common most people simply don't know any better.
It sounds like you have it all correct except for the foot placeent. Heels together is one of the main differences between a "press" and a "military press"

Military presses are a harder shoulder exercise. They force you to use your abdominals/lower back to stabilize your body and generally eliminates leg drive. Make sure you tighten up and use abdominal pressure to keep yourself from leaning back. When you keep yourself tight, you can lift more.
And I've never had a problem keeping my balance.
Also, I was on MAX OT for about 6 months. Obviously, you're going to see progress if you lift weights and eat more food no matter what the program is, but now that I've switched to working each muscle 2-3x a week, better results have come quicker.

Max OT is as described above for rep ranges. It stands for maximum overload training. I have two friends who have been using it for years with excellent results. I don't use it strictly myself. Only problem with constant heavy lifting over long periods is the stress it places on the joints.
P.S to others on this forum. Whats with the attitude telling people to search google? If someone has bothered to ask a question on a forum they are just looking for some advice from other bodybuilders who may have tried this program. There is no need to be a smartass with your answers. Your answers were just as lazy as you said this guy was BTW. Just either answer or don't bother.
