Happy New Year.

Today is my 5th day at it. I can't wait to weigh in and see if I lost any weight on the 7th day. Seems like time is going by so slow for me, I just can't wait to see the results of my efforts. I sure some of you feel the same.
I'm heading over to the bodygroup to see if anything is new-

@Transmigration I know what you mean about time going by slow. For me it is going by slow BUT now it's the last day of week 2 for me and I wonder where all my time went. Been hitting the weights so week 3 is really focus on getting all of my Cardio in.

Looking back is so much easier that's for sure. Last time I lost a bunch of weight I was 1 onth in before things started to fly by because I could see results. I'm sure once you start seeing the nice bod your making time will fly.

One thing that's important and what I learned from my last contest is that diet/cardio are king, weight lifting will help you keep muscle and look more tone.

So I was just looking through the thread here and noticed something...there does not seem to be a lot of the "young Baby Boomer" or "old Gen X'ers" aged folks out there (pretty much anybody born in the 1960's or earlier...).

So lets here it for the over the hill gang!!! We won't show any fear, and only because we have a hard time remembering what happened yesterday!!

I will enter the challenge today or tomorrow. Need to get a newspaper. I have my trainer in place. (He is a bodybuilder). My diet plan is written out, and fitness routine schedule is set. I have my supplements in place, I need to see what I can take from ON. I already take 100% whey protein. My challenge will be sticking to my diet and not cheating and doing cardio 5-6 days a week. I think I get a cheat meal 1 or 2 times a week.! I have to eat eat eat!

We went to my buddies' place last night but I ate clean and only had 1 Grey Goose and Diet sprite so all wasn't lost

you are not required to take supplements at all, and if you do take sups, ON is not required

I love it, he is just as competitive as me. So when I told him this morning that I was going to win and to get used to it, he looked at me and smiled and said "ah ha...sure you are!" Its all out of love.
