2g Carbs per Pound of Bodyweight on a Bulk

Generally speaking... If its 2g of carbs per pound of body weight on a bulk, does this include your simple carbs you'd get from say dextrose/malto/wazy maize etc?

For example if I'm aiming for 400grams of carbs per day on a bulk will this include the 80g carbs I get a day from a shake of dextrose post work out?

Of course not, why would include 80g of carbs into your total carb count?

    Don't be ridiculous
    I protest this fraud

Your question is a bit odd.

If you want to eat 2 grams of carbs per pound of bodyweight, then you should count the carbs you're eating towards that goal.

But I hope you know that you do not have to eat 2 grams of carbs per pound of bodyweight, nor do you need to consume dextrose, malto and/or wazy maize.

    And this.

OP count everything that goes into your body. All macronutrients have a caloric value, no matter how simple or complex.
