    what to take for muscle recovery?

    Is there anything that helps with that?

    i also like bulk beta alanine powder - not so much a recovery product but prevents lactic acid build up in your muscles, more of a soreness prevention product

    Usually after leg days the soreness is really bad, to the point where walking up/down stairs is painful. I took Xtend for the first time 3 days ago with my leg workout and the day after I felt hardly any DOMS. Does a great job with recovery. Tastes amazing as well.

    I use Xtend and Recon since it's the cheapest with the most servings, works best for me too. Take 4 scoops intra workout, and the next day you'll feel like you could do the same workout the previous day.

    I'd say you need to work your legs more frquently and possibly upgrade your diet/rest.

    This was coming off of about a month break from doing any lower body. Had some back pain from DL's and didn't want to cause further injury. But it does get better with time, I know. Btw, my diet/rest is in check

    for me i notice soreness isn't an issue at all for me anymore... the only thing i've changed is that i have a whey protein shake right after my workout. then 1+ hours after my workout i eat.

    As far as supplements go Torrent is formulated specifically for recovery, in one serving you get:

    20 grams high quality hydro whey
    8 grams of leucine (the anabolic trigger)
    7 grams of cell volumizers
    3 grams of creatine
    a great carb blend or for those on low/no carb diets there is Torrent Zero

    It doesn't get much better than that for recovery.
