I was thinking about supplementing my workout with a protein shake, but I was wondering when I should take it? My workout consists of weight training, then cardio afterwards. So, should I take my protein shake after my weight training or after my workout altogether (after doing the cardio)? Would it be too late (not as effective) to take it if I take it at the very end?
Thanks

Really it depends on your nutrition during the time before your workout. If you've had a good amount of protein and to an extend carbs/fat before the workout you'll be fine to take a shake post workout/cardio. If you've been fasting all day i would recommend a protein shake pre, and then either a meal post or a shake + meal post.
