I remember he got a heart attack several years ago but I haven't seen or heard of him since. Anyone following his blogs or something know of any updates?
Just curious.

Came back to compete in 09.
After qualifying at one of the Europa's, he competed at the 202 Olympia, taking 12th. Competed in the open Sacramento a month later and took 4th.
But he didn't compete in 2010. Not sure why.

I work at a gnc in sacramento, and one of his clients comes in all the time. last time i chatted with him about dim. he mentioned that he may be going under the knife soon, and that hes most likely done. and that optinum nutrition may be dropping him rom their adds. but again, that may be some one pulling my leg.

That's good to hear actually. I don't think a lot of people thought he could get back to a competitive physique after the heart condition. So it's good to see he placed fourth at the Sacramento Pro. As long as he accomplished what he wanted in his comeback than he's got nothing left to prove. Maybe he's just being precautious and thinking about his future health.
Dude had a sick physique before the aortal probelms though. Still has some of the best triceps out there.
