So, I was at the gym today and I was about to do standing bicep curls. I figured since I was lifting 30 pound dumbbells before that maybe I could try lifting the 35 pound ones. Big mistake. I lifted maybe twice and I felt a popping sensation in my back. My back started to hurt. I didn't even realize that you could get back pain from doing bicep curls. I mean, you're not really using your back that much during bicep curls are you? Anyway, I didn't do standing bicep curls as I didn't want to hurt my back anymore. I finished my workout and the pain subsided a little bit. My back still hurts a little bit as I type this but it's not too bad. What do I do to avoid this in the future?
