Has anyone got any personal experience with Optimum Nutrition 100% whey gold standard? Basically I just want to know if it tastes like **** or if its ok, because to me it seems the most economical protein powder out there.
Thanks in advance.

I used ON and only ON for over a year. I just bought my first tubs of myofusion out of pure curiosity. Banana, Strawberry and Milk Chocolate. I feel like I am having a milk shake every time I drink them and I use water...
That said, ON doesnt taste bad. In fact I liked ON Rocky Road and Cookies and cream, but they dont even compare to myofusion in the taste department.

I agree with the nay-sayers for ON whey, OP. I've tried both the 16-flavour variety pack, and am now working my way through a 5lb tub of Double Rich Chocolate I got 6 months ago. I don't even know why I ordered it, tbh (I guess I was just too easily swayed by all the positive reviews in the online store). While ON doesn't taste "bad", it's hardly what I would call "good" or anything beyond average at best. I would go with something else.
The best whey I've ever had was definitely All The Whey, but bb.com doesn't carry that one anymore, unfortunately.RIP Slash_ aka Tim- 06/28/1989 - 02/08/2013 <3

They look pretty similar too me. Dymatize is 75% pure, ON is 75% pure. There is double the amount of cholesterol in ON (30mg) Vs Dymatize (15mg), There is a little more fat in Dymatize (2grams) Vs ON (1gram), Little more sodium in the Dymatize (85mg) vs ON (60mg), ON has 2 grams of sugar, Dymatize has 0. There is also 160mg of potassium in Dymatize, ON has none. Little more calcium in the Dymatize too. Overall, Ide say dymatize takes the cake on this one. I drink ON personally. Strawberry Mmm (:, Never had dymatize so I cant compare flavor, ON I think taste great though. Even their all natural with no artificial sweeteners is pretty good. (I didnt like chocolate ON very much though)

price wise, This!
$32 for 6lbs of cytosport whey (80% WPC 20% WPI) at costco.
I've used the high end expensive stuff, ON, Dymatize, All the whey and Myofusion, they all yeild the same results... Now while it's the cheapest powder (Cytosport whey) I've found, it's no where near the best tasting.
Best tasting I would go with Myofusion chocolate, Dymatized choc mint, or All the whey's orange chocolate (sadly I don't think it's in production anymore).... but like AA said, taste is subjective. How can you lose fat eating 6 times a day, when I keep putting on weight eating only twice a day. - CoWorker

I like stuff like the above ^^^ because musclefeast and other such products are cheaper than ON and other GNC crap, are processed in superior manner, have no other ingredients other than whey isolate. This means no aftertaste, no bloating, no farting etc.
