I have my Workout split so I usually have a full day for Arms, instead of the Chest/Tris Back/Bis split.
Anyhow I did Arms yesterday, and my schedule's been kinda off lately, so for whatever reason my body feels real jacked up to do Chest. There's a tiny little bit of tightness/soreness in the arms due to pushing myself hard yest, but my chest feels like a beast ready to explode.....
Think I'd be pushing the Tris too hard??

I will not allow somebody with half the determination and twice the genetics be better than me.

would that be considered "preexhausting" i no its not the same day but still. if your triceps are a little fried, it would put more strain on the chest. so your lifts may be lower, but maybe you would get a better chest workout?? Its not a statement its a hypothesis. wtf

Not really, the main problem with the chest after arms is that since you are mainly going to be doing pressing movements for your chest, your triceps may give out before your chest is completely exhausted, and you are therefore not getting a proper chest workout on chest day.
But yeah you will be overdoing the triceps too.

I don't think you understand how it works: though pressing chest movements require both triceps/chest, if you pre-exhaust your triceps it doesn't make it so that your chest takes up more of the work, it makes it so that your triceps give out before your chest is fully exhausted while bench pressing, meaning a bad chest workout. So basically, if your triceps "are a little fried", it will put LESS strain on the chest while bench pressing.

i wouldnt do it...
i used to have that problem with my split, my tris would alllllways be sore on chest day so id have to take a break day before doin it...
so i switched the order. now i do a split like this....back, chest, shoulders, arms, legs so the arm day doesnt ruin my chest or back dayif i wanted, i could do probably do five days in a row2012 Sponsored 3DMJ athlete
