Scooter4 Runs Con-Cret Creatine By ProMera Health

A couple weeks back I was talking to someone I know about creatine and how I never notice much of a difference from it. He started telling me how great Con-Cret creatine is, but I had never heard of it before. I didn't really think anything of it after that. However, about a week later, a rep from ProMera Health contacted me and asked if I wanted to log it for them. Can you say coincidence?

Now here I am, two weeks later, with 72 capsules of Con-Cret creatine. I'm currently 176lbs so I will be dosing it as if I was 200lbs (2 capsules per day). Although it says to take it before before working out, I will be taking 1 before, and one after. If there is something inherently wrong with that, I hope a representative will contact me and let me know. I will be drinking around 1 gallon of water per day.

Currently I am using Lyle McDonald's upper/lower bulking routine. I have a log I have been running for a while which can be found here: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...hp?t=124893421. Please note that the first post is not up to date and I have made a few modification to my diet and the exercises I do. When I update this log, I will just copy/paste the information from my current workout log and then add a section about my thoughts on how I felt Con-Cret may have effected my workout.

A step backwards is better than a setback.

If this (insert whatever trivial thing that is upsetting me) is the worst thing to happen today, I'm going to have a great day.

This is going to be a good log.....food pics and all. I'm glad I'm not on a diet of any sort right now.

I like the looks of the upper body workout. Have you noticed any improvement on endurance? I believe that was the first thing I picked up on. I really didn't need to rest as much between sets.

Wasn't going to do the food pics, but I decided to throw them up after all. What the hell, right?

And as far as endurance goes, I haven't noticed anything as of yet, but will pay closer attention today. Leg day.

Every time I take it I feel like I can't carry on a conversation for the life of me. I'm guessing it could be part of the crash because I know someone who feels the same way.

    Day 195 - 12/11/2010 - Upper Body

    SUMMARY
Like I mentioned yesterday, it's snowed an absolute ton here. I woke up and was going to meet a buddy at the gym around 11:30, but went outside and found my car covered in snow so I spent some extra time shoveling it out. I finally got the the gym around 12:30 and almost got stuck like 4 times on the way there. Found myself deciding not to turn into a certain side-street due to there being a big snow bank at the start of it. I finally got the the gym and was barely able to park next to my friend before getting stuck in the parking lot. Got my workout in, ate some Burrachos post-workout, and then worked on getting my car un-stuck. On my way back, the roads were A TON worse. I ended up running like 4 red light so I didn't have to stop and risk getting stuck in the middle of the street. I barely parked at the grocery store across the street before getting stuck there too. I wasn't about to attempt to drive up a big hill to get to the parking lot by my apartment.

So yeah, being stuck at my apartment on a Saturday night was a blast (not).

I live in Minnesota so I'm naturally super pasty.

It's just two times per week for like 18 minutes. That bad?

Well, honestly, if you are pasty white....it's all bad.

In my avi I just got a nice spray tan, so it hides many of my scars. But, if you enlarge it you can see one of my scars on my right shoulder....about 2" long now.

Also, on my right forearm just above the elbow, you can see 2 scars from spots I had frozen off. I go to the dermatologist 2 or 3 times/year and usually have 15-30 of these spots done each trip.

I have 2 surgeries scheduled next week as well. My advice....pasty white FTW!

Congrats on the math final Scooter. Take care of that last one and then have some fun.

Nice leg day. Are you doing conventional deads here or stiff legged deads?

275# WAS a good wt....295# will be a good wt next week. I expect to see you working w/ 3 plates before you are done w/ the Con-Cret!

Nice leg day. Are you doing conventional deads here or stiff legged deads?

275# WAS a good wt....295# will be a good wt next week. I expect to see you working w/ 3 plates before you are done w/ the Con-Cret!
These are actually conventional deads. I usually do hack squats but wanted to switch it up a bit to give my knees a break. Since deads don't hit quads nearly as much, I usually increase the volume on leg extensions on days that I do deads.

And 3 weeks to get up to 3 plates?

    I have work to do!

Oh, gotcha, lol. I tan two times per week for 18 minutes. Although that might be stopping soon. Haven't decided yet. :/

3 plates in 3 wks???? Yes.

The important parts for deads are to use great form AND really PUSH yourself beyond what you think your limits are.

A step backwards is better than a setback.

If this (insert whatever trivial thing that is upsetting me) is the worst thing to happen today, I'm going to have a great day.
