great news - my morning bodyweight has now dropped to 247.6lbs from 255lbs, and im still feeling strong. guess i dont need carb back loading after all. i've been doing kind of like a carb front loading diet on training days. i go medium carbs before training and low carb after training. on non training days i just go low carb in every meal. its easier for me to eat carbs every single meal and control the amount of carbs i eat than to eat zero carbs in some meals. and i wont feel like crap when i train since i eat carbs pre workout. my goal is not to drop to any specific bodyweight i just want to get leaner.

i was feeling really beat up today so i did some volume work. last set was pretty hard lol i dont miss the good ol' volume days at all. but i know there will be a time when i go back to high volume training. but theres something about my squat that i need to change technique-wise. i dont know what it is but i know right now i dont feel comfortable squattting.

done. was spent after squats.
this taiwanese IPF lifter was visiting the gym and they said he squats and pulls around 300kg and benches around 200kg at 75kg bodyweight all singleply. and apparently he's the strongest guy in taiwan (maybe torrtre can shed some light on this?). the guy looked jacked as fuuck and his wife was hot as hell too and she can pull 200kg...what a lucky man. i thought they were japanese since they're so damn polite. i dont think he can compete with dem americans and europeans tho.My training log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=129669663

new version of my 12-week cycle. looks more realistic to me. the rep scheme will most likely stay the same but weights will most probably change as i go through the cycle.
also, my morning bodyweight is now down to 246 and during the day im at 248. once i start my cycle im gonna have to gain back some weight. its crazy how gaining a couple pounds can already make you much stronger. 252 will be my upper limit so if i struggle to stay under 252 i might just go 275 at the meet.Last edited by martin_mathers; 08-21-2012 at 02:58 AM.

Fine I'll come back to your log
Hsieh Tsung-Ting is their best lifter but I think he retired.
Kuan Yi-Hsin is a 75kg who at worlds 2011 hit numbers way way lighter than what you were told. (275/155/295)
Never noticed a Taiwanese person to be extremely polite... more like... immature for their age. Taiwan is good at powerlifting but not on Russia's level obviously771/645/622 Single Ply

He might've just gotten stronger? But thats a lot to add to your bench. Taiwanese food sucks compared to Chinese from my experiences even though its pretty much the same ****. At least in China you have some rice noodles, I could never go to Taiwan and have any noodles.
I'm not above saying sometimes Asians look alike, but I don't see it much there. The one on the right looks just like my girlfriend's uncle though.... just like him771/645/622 Single Ply

multiply by 2, take 10% (move the decimal over) and add it
for all others, remove 1-4kg off of a known conversion
ex. you should know 140kg is 308lbs, so 137kg being 3kg less is 301.4 since obvs 3kg=6.6lbs
i have these memorized
100 220
110 242
120 264
130 286
140 308
150 330
160 352
etc you see the nice pattern?
also 225 = ~497 (496.6) since the true conversion is 2.20462, I only emphasize this since I've put on 227 to break 500lbs on deadlift
I've also had the pleasure of ruining people's PRs by telling them the true conversion and not the rounded up one they had in mind. 180kg is not "4 plates, 405lb" it's 396lbsMisc Strength Crew

this guy i know who lives in australia pulled 5 plates and made a huge deal out of it on ******** and announced to the world he pulled 500lbs. then i destroyed his world by telling him 220kg is only 485lbs.My training log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=129669663

Well im at 247 right now so i would need to cut 50lbs in 3 months. Does that sound a bit too much? Because i still wanna make some strength gains. I think i could total 1300 now so if i can maintain that and get a bit stronger on the squat and dead then i'd be good at 220

I meant in the long term. You could do it slowly to make sure you don't have huge strength dropoffs. Realistically 220 is best in 3 months time. Then 198 6+months after that. @ 247 you have a shiiitload of musclemass to spare so I wouldn't be worried about looking 'small' or anything. People tell me I look huge in the 160s and all i've done is cut fat from 180s.
