nothing special about the day except that it was so ****ing easy. none of my rest periods were longer than 2 minutes. i was able to sink my hips way down before i pull and that way i could use a lot of leg drive and kinda solved my problem of being slow off the floor and rounding my back.
cut out some assistance lifts because next week will be a rather tough week.

How is sheiko going for you?
Look me in the eye. It's okay if you are scared, so am I, but we are scared for different reasons. I am scared of what I willn't become, you are scared of what I could become. Look at me! I will not let myself end where I started, I will not let myself finish where I begin. I know what is within me, even if you can't see it yet. Haha. Race to 315 then? :P
I want to do sheiko soon, the program just looks amazing. No joint problems or anything though?

315 bench? sure haha i'd probably sh*t myself when that day comes.
yea sheiko is awesome. i love and hate its inflexibility. i love it because i never have to think about how many sets i have to do, what assistance lifts i have to do, or if i should do a deload session. everything is clearly laid out and if you cant handle it, you just gotta lower the base maxes or run an easier cycle. i hate it because it doesnt allow you to have a bad day. Most programs will adapt to you. but you have to adapt to sheiko. if you are running sheiko in the future, my .02 would be focus on the main lifts and never hesitate to cut down a few sets on the assistance lifts or even cut them out for the day.
when i first started sheiko i did the first 3 weeks of 29 for and i was dead. my back was ****ed up and i completely overtrained. my work capacity was so low due to my terrible training history. then i did a month of easy 531 to let my body heal up and since then i've done 29 again,37 and now 40. my left knee does hurt from time to time so does my hip but recently i've been doing a LOT of stretching so my hip is feeling a lot better. it also helps me keep my knees out too. i'd say it took me two months to get used to the volume and now i dont even feel like im doing a high volume program anymore.

didnt expect today to be so easy. 90% did not feel like 90% at all squats and bench went up smooth and quick. also witnessed some legit lifting today. this scrawny asian dude who weighed around 120 i think hit a 235 bench and was repping out 95s DBs. pretty impressive sh*t considering i train in a gym full of 6-board(invisible) benchers and quarter squatters. dat dere asian genetics!

Free is always good. I don't think that Canada IPF has any raw category either. Very weird, given international IPF has it now. I'm sure it will change soon.

just weighed myself on an electronic scale. 223.5lbs. THE FAWRKK?!!! how the fuk did i gain 13.5lbs in a little bit over a month?!! my food consumption has basically been the same...i should be staying at the same weight or even losing weight given the high volume training. fuk i gotta cut.

just decided to raise my base maxes. squat up 5, bench up 5 and dead up 10. 375/270/405 to 380/275/415. probably not gonna make much difference since i only have less than two weeks in my last prep cycle here. but everythings been easy so i figured why not.
90% dead and bench marathon tomorrow. lets tear sh!t up.

a typical 40 workout takes me around 2 and a half hours. beware of the deadlift/bench day of week 1. that one took me 3 hours 15 minutes and i was so fatigued after that day i had to do my squat/bench day two days later. look at the day then you'll know what i mean lol.

not a perfect day but definitely not a bad day at all. the first half of the session was my bitch but then after benching i felt extremely hungry. i went to the gym with only a 6-inch sub in my stomach and the sub was eaten 2 hours before training. almost fainted when i was doing those box pulls. lesson learned: eat!!
oh and i weighed myself before training today and i was at 219. so i lost almost 4 pounds in what 2 days? would love to maintain at this bodyweight till my meet. planning to go on a permanent bulk after the meet. i just love food too much.

an okay day cause i woke up at 6:30, got on the bus at 7:30 and started training at 8. i was still pretty sleepy. and my back was still very fatigued from the last deadlift day so that kinda affected the squats. bench was easy again. the douchebag got me fired up though. the assistance lifts were done extremely light and hastily because i had to go back to school lol.

Too late tonight to catch up on your log, but looks good from what I've seen.
You're in between the ages of my 2 sons. Both lift. Younger is a pretty good HS basketball player but works hard at this lifting too. Older one in college, playing rec league bball but also lifts pretty seriously. Congrats on a great work ethic and having found out about serious training at a young age.

Another question if I may...have you been increasing your maxes periodically? I only ask b/c I have overviewed the log and there have been instances in which mid-cycle you increase the lift maxes.

Thank you sir! its good to start young. i actually started seriously training just around 4 months ago. before that i still lifted but not consistently. should have started earlier!

yea when i was training for the meet back in march my base maxes were around the numbers that i hit at the meet lol. and after that i increased them again and last week i increased them again. whenever i feel like everythings been easy i just increase 5-10lbs. i dont know if its a good thing or a bad thing really. but since i can recover pretty quickly from training and i've already adapted to sheiko so why not...that said i go extremely light on the assistance lifts though. so light that if i had never done it from the start it wouldnt have made any difference in terms of strength. i've actually never done everything that it calls for. i always cut off something, whether its lifts or sets. i just make sure i get the main lifts in.

Squats went okay. Bench was super easy. only took around 2 hours today. really tried to limit the rest periods. overall a very easy day again.
so after training and feeling like a war hero i marched to the scale that was sitting at the cardio section. i stepped on, 222lbs. mind=fuked. i've been eating clean and a LOT less and i went back up to 222. even though i still have 4 weeks to cut i just hate lifting with a caloric deficit especially when im on such a high volume program. im contemplating on whether i should cut down below 220 or just say fuk it and bulk. i do know my body really wants to push up its weight.

Tank.. Tank.. TAAAANK.
Lol @ only took hours.
Nice benching dude. Mad jelly.
Look me in the eyes, I have something more important than courage, I have patience. I will become what I know I am.

In on the log of another T-Dot brah.
BTW are you competing in September at the 100% RAW meet?
You should try pulling Sumo IMO, your squat shows you should deadlift alot more than you currently do.
