Vertical pulls, grip work and most of all: rope climbing.
Bodybuilding is 60% training and 50% diet. Yes that adds up to 110%, because that's what you should be giving it. Change the inside, and the physique will follow.

Good post. Want a big bench? Bench. What a wicked rope climb? climb rope.

Chinups are probably a real good bet.

if you cant climb at all som vertical lat exercise.. ex: close grip pulldowns, chinups..

if you can climb abit already.. add some weight on yourself.

To focus on the back muscles for rope climbing try 3 sets of pull-ups and 3 of chin-ups, alternating.

    Pull-up
    Chin-up
    Pull-up
    Chin-up
    Pull-up
    Chin-up

All close grip. You're switching out the arm muscles but using mostly the same back muscles.

Static DB holds or Farmer Carry for grip.

    Oh, and Rope Climbing...
I'm not saying we should kill all the stupid and lazy people, just that we should eliminate warning labels and welfare, let the problem take care of itself.
