Thumbs up The Proof Is In The Pudding - AllMax Protein Pudding Recipes

Well, bulking season is definitely here, and that means you're going to be spending a lot more time in the kitchen...awesome! In order to keep you from getting too bored, I wanted to share a few of the many recipes we have at AllMaxNutrition.com.

This is just a tiny sampling of some pudding-like recipes for those of you who like to say hello to Jell-O but would rather pack on a lot of muscle than a lot of midsection fat.

You can find more AllMax Nutrition recipes right here.

    ALLMAX-I-MUM PROTEIN BREAD PUDDING

    Ingredients

1 small, square, disposable foil baking tray
4 slices thick, whole grain or multigrain bread
3 to 4 lg tbsp apple butter
2 scoops ALLMAX ALLWhey Butterscotch Maple Fudge Protein Powder
    1 whole egg
    1 egg white
2 lg tbsp real pumpkin pie filling (optional)
2-3 cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk
    ¼ tsp cinnamon
    Pinch allspice
    Pinch nutmeg

    Preparation

    Heat oven to 300°F.

Take the thickly sliced bread and spread with apple butter, then cut into chunks and toss into the foil baking tray. In a blender mix the remaining ingredients, pour over the bread chunks and allow to sit so the flavors are absorbed before baking – approximately 1 hour or longer for a deeper, richer taste.

Bake for forty minutes or until a skewer comes out clean. Enjoy.

ALLMAX-I-MUM Chocolate Peanut Banana Bread Pudding

    Ingredients

1 small, square, disposable foil baking tray
4 slices thick, whole grain or multigrain bread
3 to 4 lg tbsp natural crunchy peanut butter
2 scoops ALLMAX ISOFLEX Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Powder
    1 whole egg
    1 egg white
1 large or 2 small ripe bananas
2-3 cups unsweetened chocolate almond milk
Presidents Choice chocolate, vanilla sugar seasoning

    Preparation

    Heat oven to 300°F.

Take the thickly sliced bread and spread with peanut butter, then cut into chunks and toss into the foil baking tray. In a blender mix the remaining ingredients (except PC seasoning), pour over the bread chunks and allow to sit so the flavors are absorbed before baking – approximately 1 hour or longer for a deeper, richer taste. Top with PC chocolate vanilla, sugar seasoning.

Bake for forty minutes or until a skewer comes out clean. Enjoy.

At this time of year, I make one of these bread puddings for the family or just for myself. They’re healthy, easy and handy to have around the house when that sweet hunger moment takes over.

Quick tip: If using canned pumpkin, you can portion the leftovers up and label and freeze for a later date, as it saves well this way.

    SUMMER DELIGHT

    You Will Need
8” spring form pan, line the bottom with grease proof paper
1 ½ cup unsweetened chocolate wafer crumbs
½ cup ground flax seed (Omega-3)
2 scoops of either Chocolate or Peanut Butter Chocolate ISOFLEX Protein Powder
¼ cup coconut butter (MTC fat)
Combine all the above ingredients to form a base. If you need to add more coconut butter feel free to, but remember we are trying to keep this healthy not heavy.
Press firmly into the bottom of a lined spring form pan. Bake in the oven for 5 mins at 375° until a crust is formed.
    Summer delight filling
2 packets either orange or strawberry Jell-O Lite
1 scoop of ISOFLEX Protein Powder in the same flavor to match the Jell-O
3 cups thawed Cool Whip Lite
Follow the instructions to dissolve Jell-O. Once the Jell-O becomes cool yet not set, blend in the appropriate flavor protein powder and Cool Whip to form a smooth creamy filling. Spoon over cooled baked crust and refrigerate for 3 hours.
Just before serving, top with either mandarin oranges or fresh berries.

    STRAWBERRY CHIA PUDDING

he humble Chia, Salvia hispanica and Golden Chia, Salvia columbariae, have been cultivated in South America and coastal California for hundreds of years, and is still highly valued as a nutritional food source. Chia is rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, particularly ALA.

Chia seeds may be eaten raw, but may also be enjoyed sprouted and more commonly, soaked. Chia seeds have a mucilaginous substance, and become gelatinous when soaked in water, absorbing 9 times their weight! This gel is often used in puddings and porridges to improve texture and flavor. The ground seed is also delicious in baked goods.

    You Will Need:

    • 1 tbsp ground Chia Seed Fiber
    • 8 oz water
    • 1 scoop ISOFLEX Strawberry

In a small bowl, mix the Chia seed fiber and water to a gel-like consistency. Stir in the Isoflex until evenly mixed. Enjoy!

    BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!

Of course, there's always some simple ISOFLEX pudding: mix Isoflex with minimal water and freeze for 20 minutes, stirring at the 10 minute mark. Pure protein pudding
