K guys, so I started lifting 11 months ago, before I started lifting I was very socially awkward. Although, the first day I went into the gym I met the nicest guy ever who became one of my best friends. Hung out with him for 11 months... Today he just left for bootcamp into the marines. Didnt hit me until today at the gym that in 13 weeks ill see him for 10 days, then prob wont see him again for several years.

When were young , we want to be older. But the older you get, the more you realise being a kid was alot better

Tfw you lose good friends. My first best friend from 4th grade got into drugs & got into a lot of fights. 5th grade friend became a jock in HS & was too cool for me. 6th grade friend went into the wrong group of friends & started using drugs. So many more similar stories. It seems like every year you make a few friends, then they disappear the next year. This trend continued throughout HS.
Well, I'm starting college in the fall & hopefully going to find some people who will stick around. The feels ITT though...
