strong bullsh*t. neither is a good predictor. money can be obtained in many ways; the fact that one has them doesn't say anything for sure. you can get money by scamming people, by getting an inheritance, by using people. the mere fact of the POSSESSION of money says nothing about the personality.
and it's not ok to discriminate based on anything.
i get that some people want their partner to be attractive: it's only natural, cause physical attraction is a huge factor when it comes to the relationship being successful.
i can also understand why a person would want their partner to be good with money - i'm not saying rich, but rather resourceful, economical and hard-working.
it's not about discrimination. does the fact that you're not attracted to someone mean you discriminate them? hell no. some things work for certain people. i'm for example not attracted to asians. do i consider them worse people? no. i'm just not attracted to their facial features.
basically if you consider somebody a worse person because of such shallow reasons as appearance or money it says nothing about them but rather about you. but being attracted to sb is a different thing. it's not a conscious choice.
and when it comes to money like i have said - it shouldn't be about the mere fact of a person having/not having them. it's about drive, passion, not spending through loads of money on a whim and being down to earth.

It's fine either way. Be as shallow as you want to be, that is your right. Just be prepared for the consequences.
When I was in university and poor, I never had the gold diggers after me (obvious). However, now plenty come along and I can smell them a mile away. They play there game, and I play mine by putting the stick with a dollar bill stringed to the end of it out in front of their face while I ride them like a donkey They never get the money, but put out quite a bit in their search for it.

In this world it's okay to meet a person who may ha ve everything going for them but be like "ugh, they're ugly, do not want" when looks is somthing the don't have much control over. But if you meet a nice person and say you don't want them because they're broke it's somehow wrong. I made a thread about how to blow off this bum without a job who lived with his mom and I got torn to shreds. For some reason people expect a 23 year old living like that to be okay.

You can discriminate on whatever you want, it's a personal choice.
You can choose to blow someone off for being broke ...
You can choose to blow someone off for being fat ...
You can choose to blow someone off for being ugly ...
You can choose to blow someone off for being [insert] ...
What are you getting at?

It shows their quality of character. Women who are gold diggers tend to be the most disloyal people you will ever meet in your life. The reason why people look down on it is because usually the person with the money is to blind to see that his/her spouse is using them for their money and they think they are in love but the truth is the other person is only around for their $.
What ever happened to falling in love with a nigg@ with a bus pass?

Damn, those Predator pictures are awesome.
It's okay to "discriminate" based on looks because human beings are biologically predisposed to do it, i.e. looking for quality mating partners to ensure the survival of offspring.
Being with someone for their money is pretty much the definition of being a whore.

It's called "gold digging" because the vapid whores engaged in the activity have no means of supporting themselves financially other than what they can offer sexually. This gradually diminishes with age, and there are few things more pathetic than a broke 50 year old whore. They are parasites, creatures who leech off the productive life of someone else and contribute nothing of their own -- the lowest echelon of life.

You can't separate a woman from her looks. You can, and will, separate a man from his money.
Fact: Physical attractiveness makes a woman's other qualities hotter.
Meaning if a girl is a 5/10 but has a cool personality, it's like "oh, well, she's cool to hang out with." Make her an 8+/10 it's "wow, I met this awesome girl!"
Her looks are inextricably tied to your appreciation for her other qualities. Hotness makes everything else sexier.
