I have no idea why I call Dillet by his last name and Dorian by his first name.
We're dodging more ninjitsu attacks than Flex Wheeler. We're ducking more bullets than George Farah. We're facing more death than a kid leg pressing at Branch Warren's gym.
You can't stop us. You can't hold us back.

I don't buy all this "he had crappy back genetics".
The dude has no muscle control at all. when he does a lat spread, then relaxes with his arms by his side; his back looks exactly the same! Back is a hard place to train and feel the muscles - and Paul got it to what it was without ever figuring out how to flex his lats properly. And the muscles are thick and full and rounded in his back, with very deep seperations and good insertions- just developed really out of proportion to the rest of him. But then posing back is hard as well - do it wrong and your back looks twice as small. This is a factor too.
If Paul ever learned the basic coordination of a four year old he probably would have had a monster back. If he ever worked hard, god knows what kind of muscle he'd have piggybacking around his spine.Feathered Nether Regions

if you go to youtube and find the BFTO with Dillet from 1998 it's f'n awesome. He looks gigantic and is actually moving some pretty heavy weight (vs. the 1996 BFTO when he trained like a total pussy).
at the end he's flexing his quads and they are totally feathered, he was totally shredded and if he had shown up looking like that he MIGHT have been able to give Ronnie a run for his money. Ronnie's back destroy's Pauls but Pauls legs are f'n unreal.

Paul's everything aside from back destroyed Ronnie's.
Dorian was being ironic mainly towards Glass, I think, in this interview

[ Q ] As an expert trainer yourself, do people look up to you more for the fact that you have the knowledge they need, or because of your six-time Mr. Olympia status?
A: I think it is firstly because I am a Mr. Olympia, but when they train with me, then they respect the training knowledge. Just because I'm Mr. Olympia doesn't mean I'm knowledgeable. I'm a good trainer because I'm very knowledgeable and I pass this on and take pride in doing that, explaining to people why.
I'm not a guy who goes into a gym with somebody and just stands there and counts reps. I've seen the so-called top trainers doing this. I saw a "top" trainer at Gold's Gym training Paul Dillett during a back session and Paul had way more arms than he could ever use, huge arms, but absolutely no lats.
He was doing a so-called lat exercise and he was just using his arms to do the exercise because they are very strong: he was using totally wrong body mechanics and this so-called top trainer was just standing there saying, "Come on Paul two, three, four, that's it buddy, come on, five." He should have been correcting his form and telling how he was doing it totally wrong, and explaining how to do it properly.
