I still will never understand why people freak about sodium. I mean, are they really having sodium in every meal in some way? I never add salt to anything except my morning eggs and just a tiny bit when I grill meat. Total intake is always super low anyhow so CC can't harm me.

Yes CC is relatively high in sodium which is why it's important to ease back on it when you're trying to harden your physique up a bit and drop a bit more water. The thing with high sodium foods, and combined with a high carb diet in general, is that it does get you holding onto excess water.
The reason why we cut it back has nothing to do with blood pressure or anything like that. It's because it's something you need to drop down if you want to get extremely dry during those final weeks.
It often goes hand in hand with carb depleting. We tend to use a lot more turkey and chicken and egg whites during that time as the sole protein sources because they're low sodium yet high protein.
Like anything again as always in bodybuilding, it does differ depending on an individual's own response, but the majority of the time, the above is how it goes down. It sucks though, cos CC is so convenient and so quick to eat loladvertising/self-promotion not permitted

i dont fear sodium with regard to health. my only concern is that im sort of particular about knowing where i stand with regard to progress. eliminating a source of fluctuating water weight lets me feel a little more secure about how accurate the scale is reporting my gains/losses.
but then again, i love CC"I wish people trained their brains with the same passion they are training their biceps." - Juliacheh

I get about 3000mg a day but also have 6,000mg of potassium
This will negate most of the effects of a high Na diet
Most non-processed foods are low in sodium anyways
The only reason mine is high is I cant stay away from cheeseFounder of MMDELAD

Ya know...one would think that with such a high amount of sodium in most brands that it would be a bit more tolerable to eat plain, while the sodium free version tastes like spoiled milk.

CC minus salt tastes funny, but I've never had Friendship, so I can't comment on it. But from the "low sodium" brands I have had, they taste like...well...protein. Just pure fuel, no taste. But I don't feel bad...food is fuel. Bring it!
