    Consequences of exceeding my macros?

I'm currently working out as hard as I can 3-5 days a week.
    I'm eating about 3000 calories a day.
I'm 140lbs, bulking right now. My end goal (dream body, after cutting) is 175lbs.

I'm currently a part of my high school's marching band (drumline, 1 semester only), practicing 20+ hours per week, so cardio is pretty (unintentionally) high.

What are the consequences of exceeding my macros individually in terms of Protein? Carbs? Fat? This is assuming I meet the other 2 but exceed the 3rd by up to 75%.

Just so you know, you're reps don't count for much.

Exceeding your macros = More calories, might be exceeding calories = Possible fat gain.

Good to know. Not 100% sure on how the rep system works but I thought I'd offer at least a little in return for a non-bro answer. I appreciate it.

Is this true even for something like protein? Does the body just turn anything really excessive into fat?

there are 9 calories in 1 gram of fat, 4 in a gram of carbs, and 4 in a gram of protein. so if you go over on your macros and start going into a surplus then ur body is either going to use those extra calories to either store fat or build muscle. For your goals, you need to be at a constant caloric deficit to lose weight. Also, there are 3500 calories in a pound of fat so if you are in a 500 calorie deficit then it will take a week to lose 1 pound of fat.
    good luck!

Sorry if I made it sound like I'm currently cutting. I'm only 140lbs. The goal I posted is merely a long term dream. Since I'm bulking, how will it affect me?
