Laptop won't charge
Anyone have this problem? It'll only charge after I wiggle the adapter for like five minutes only to find a way to hold it in that position. Now that won't even work and have to force the plug in even more for the charging light to come on. Any help would be appreciated.

No, I'm not racist.
Sucks brah, try to get your hands on a different charger and see if that is it... if it isn't you will have to replace the mobo. Is it under warranty? Also run a windows update, kind of crazy but I had a similar issue with my Asus a year ago or so. I updated windows and it went away... I guess teh spirit of Bill got up in dis bish

if it isn't the charger, then it is going to be the power jack.
if its the power jack you don't have to replace the motherboard. But you will have to take it apart and remove the old jack and solder on a new one.

take your laptop over to an electronics store and unplug the display model power, and try it out on yours.

yeah, they don't care. I went to best buy with my sisters laptop that had the same issue and I just unplugged one of their display models and plugged the laptop in.
They aren't going to tell you anything, what the hell are they going to do?
Laptop companies reuse the same charger for a lot of models, my sisters laptop was from 2004 and the new toshiba laptops use the same charger.
If you try it out and it works, don't buy it at the retail store. Just go on ebay and get a charger for your laptop. You will save about 75%

At OP, I got a HP and I had the same problem and it was my power adapter $150 to replace.
Seen as you can get it working sometimes I suggest ordering one off the internet way cheaper. I couldn't do this as I needed my computer to work right away so I had to fork out the full retail amount.
Part two - I now have a new problem a few months on.
0% available (plugged in, not charging) WTF is this. Basically the second my power cord gets removed my computer shuts down.
I intend to live forever. So far, so good.
