yes, but don't get bigger unless you want to model for athletic gear only. But if you are talking about a model who walks down the runway, they may want you to be a little muscled down, which I wouldn't do if I were you. I have a friend who looks very much like you, body and face wise and lives in Manhattan. They have told him hes too muscular to do runaway events, but he can do other events. He does some modeling for sports gear and also does a lot of events where they want pretty people working (either be a standing model, or walking around with some trendy cloths on, even clubs will hire him to stay in the VIP area to get people to come in, who will pay)
Kinky is using a feather.
Perverted is using the whole chicken.

Check out my youtube channel! Feel free to ask questions, and I'll make video responses as in depth and to my knowledge as I can. I don't spread bro science, my information will be similiar to Ian Mccarthy/Layne/Ogus/Eric helms in the sense that I will base my accusations of of science/studies. Also some personal experience, but I won't impose that onto you. But if you ask, I'll answer :)

What type of modeling are you going for? There was an ad in Craigslist seeking male models. $1100/day and all you had to have was a clean bill of health, "six pack abs" and an open mind.
Clothing? Runway? Athletic? Nude? Porn? It really all depends on what the job is... some things you fit the bill and other things not even close.
Approach it with some confidence, the whole "Hey guys can I be a model?" thing is kind of silly. Yes, you can--- just go out and hustle up some TFP shoots and go from there. Can you get paid to do it, or make a name? Well... probably not. Like the other guys said, there's nothing that's really super unique. If you put 20 black Ferraris in a lot together, and one neon pink VW bus... people are going to look at the out of place bus. Same for models, more or less. Not trying to insult you, it's just a crazy, shady business... with a TON of people trying to get the same spot as you.
It also depends on the designer if you're looking for fashion. When I was 135-140 I did a lot of local fashion stuff, both photos for catalogs, a Christmas card, some in store stuff, and then just dressing in their things and walking around different events talking to people. With how their clothes fit and were designed... there is really no way that I could do it, as my quads are too big for most of their pants, and my upper back is too big to fit into the shirts.

Almost 6'3", I'll get on it.
True that!
Therein lies the dilemma.
Wow even at your stat listed weight? Hmm.
You know you're (no homo) when you have no idea what would be "unique".
Anyway guys I think I might do it, only thing is I'm gaining weight for Rugby so might well be 220lb by Febuary. Might rather wait until then to contact agencies so my "look" doesn't completely change over 2-3 months.SQ: 484lb
BP: 330b
DL: 540lb

Your headshot is good. It all depends on what companies are looking for. Nothing wrong with going out there and trying.
Some will tell you they want you larger, while others will say you need to be skinner.
Look how you want to look then look for work in the field that makes you happy._________________________
