So I have heard several different opinions on when to take a mass gainer. I currently take it right after my workout and right before bed. A lot of people say to take it right when you wake up and right before bed. So should I take my first shake before I wake up or after my workout?
Just a little information to help you decide. I typically sleep till about 11. I get up, get ready and am at the gym by 12. I try to eat something of substance with chicken or something before the gym, usually around 40 or so grams of protein worth. So I am taking my mass gainer still only a couple hours after I get up, but a lot of people say shakes after workouts are good so that is why I take it then.
OK, so, what do yall think?

It does not matter when you take the mass gainer. At all. The End.

Skip the mass gainer. If you have that much room for cals, put together some awesome meals. Think how good a meal or snack/cheat you could have with those cals!

But when you come to the NUTRITION section asking questions about supplements that have their carbohydrate portion comprised of empty calorie, nutritionally empty sugars, what kind of response would you expect?
So, when someone asks how to time their intake of X, it is a reasonable response for someone to question whether it is optimal to even take X.

Sorry for the week and a half later reply. I wasn't being sensitive if you mean that I took the advice badly. By stop giving a sh*t I meant I will stop being so OCD about something that obviously doesn't matter that much haha. That wasn't harsh advice and if it was, I still won't get sensitive. I welcome all advice. Nice, mean, etc.
Thanks a bunch guys.
Oh and as for the advice to ditch the mass gainer and eat. My only issue is that I don't think I could make myself eat 250 grams of protein and over 3,000 calories a day in a clean manner without wanting to shoot myself. Half the time I would rather not eat than eat another fricken can of tuna haha. So if for nothing else, the mass gainer is a good way for me to get those calories and protein in so I don't get burnt out on 3,000 calories worth of chicken a day. But thanks for the advice nonetheless!

Advice please
Hi im 15 year old girl , ive recoved from anorexia but still need to gain about 10kg
I'm 1.68m tall and currently weigh 43kg
So I want to gain it in muscle mass
I started training with a personal trainer and he suggested I drink mass builder with milk after my workouts, so far I've gained 3kg but I want to switch to a whey protein shake because i feel like the mass builder is a little heavy for me and is messing with my digestion
Any advice?

You are medically underweight. You need to visit a doctor.
As recommended here: https://nccd.cdc.gov/dnpabmi/Result....t=1/8&wttext=0
