Help me... Weird pulled feeling in upper abdomen
Ok, I've had an ongoing issue for over 4 months and I cannot figure out what it is.
I've been doing Stronglifts 5x5 and around when I approached 95 kilos on my squat, I caught a cold. After this cold, I don't know if it was coughing, or was an injury or WHAT, I noticed a weird problem.
Often when I quickly tighten my upper abs, whether it is a cough, or a minor jolt during a squat when coming up, I will sometimes fill a very odd pulling/readjustment/strain feeling in my upper left abs. It doesn't really hurt, it just feels like something is being suddenly yanked on or slipping inside. I really don't know how to describe the feeling well. It doesn't feel like a muscle pull.
At first I was very worried it was some sort of hernia. I went to the doctor and they did an MRI scan and said that there was no hernia. It didn't actually hurt either, and the sensitivity seems to vary. Usually it only starts to present itself when I'm seriously straining myself during the last few reps near my last sets.
It doesn't seem to be worsening. But I've lost mass due to a lot of time from working out due to travel and sickness, so I haven't really put any strain on it. I've started to build up again and I'm confused.
Has anyone ever had this problem? Does anyone have ANY idea what this could be?? I'm at a total loss.
