I'm not a huge tuna fan but I will eat it if it isn't the canned kind. It may sound crazy but could I just cook up some tuna steaks twice a week or so and make other things with them? It may cost a bit more but like I said, I wouldn't be doing it all that often.

Try this, make these, and marinate the tuna steaks with the same sauce, then serve with rice, excellent:

Its called ahi.
You can buy it frozen at Trader Joes. Thaw it and sear it in a pan with a few spices of choice for 1 minute max each side. Slice it thin and serve over rice and drink a cold Kirin with it.If you don't get what you want you didn't want it bad enough

I recommend putting each one in a ziplock bag with 1 lime squeezed in with it, along with a little white vinegar, olive oil and salt. Grill at about 350 for about 5 mins per side, flipping every so often. Should stay nice and pink in the middle - the juicy pink and moist center is what you're going for here. Should have some nice juices flowing out of it when you massage it a little.
A million miles away - I don't.. feel.... anything.
