    Can really narrow shoulders ever look good?

    I know Im skinny I was 5'10 118lbs I now 135lbs ripped I feel a lot mass on my shoulders adn arms in the shower I feel and look like my body is a lot more muscualr but hwen I look in the mirror Im still like a skinny boy.

    I think even If I get to 150-160lbs I will be really narrow and still look kiddy. Cause I mean starting at 118lbs at 5'10 tells you how narrow my body is. Like a matchstick skeleton frame.

    I do loads of laterals+rear raises and empahises wide grips on most lifts, rows, dips etc...

    How about you stop bitching and put up pictures so we can judge for ourselves? If I remember correctly from another one of your threads, your shoulders aren't that much smaller than mine. I look fairly broad even though my shoulders aren't that huge. It's all relative.

    Seriously narrow shoulders will not become a problem if you work out in a way to emphasisse broadness. When I started I too was concerned about width, as I severely lacked it. People said you can't get wider shoulders, it's genetics, etc. But I did gain a load of width, I'll show you what I did in 1 year:



    Focus on upper back and deltoid exercises, but minimise work that leads to a thicker waist, i.e. Traditional squats and deadlifts. This is a more classical approach to bodybuilding, but works great for us narrow guys.

    Look up a guy called Jim Gironda, check out his exerceses. They'll do exactly what you want. He trained some of the greatest bodybuilders of the golden age, and knew more about shape and aesthetics than anyone can think of.
