Protein is the building blocks of muscle. You don't need a study on it, it's simple nutrition.
I'm just here for the gangbang.

I want to be able to show someone a study. I understand the basics of protein but I would like an example of an Empirical study about Whey protein.

The supplement industry lacks GOOD research

i would define good research as:
    - in Humans
    - skeletal muscle
    - vs placebo
    - N>100
    - not sponsored by a company

i think you need to form your own opinion based on your own knowledge and realistic expectations.

go to the supplement science sub-section for the articles.

you can also reference pubmed, which is where many of those articles are referenced.

Why would someone pay the money to conduct a study to prove something we already know? It's like spending a billion dollars to prove gravity will make something fall to the floor if you drop it.
