what am i doin wrong? I was eating whey protein 4 times a week around 100grams in one day.Is it coz i m not eating 7 days? or am i eating a low amount?

It's protein not steroids.
You need to eat and eat and eat and then eat some more. Eat clean and eat as much as your absolutely can. Bodies are build at the dinner table, not in the gym. But speaking of the gym, lift heavy, lift hard, lift often. 4 day split would probably be best for you. For most exercises since you're a beginner i would stick with the 8-10 rep range. That's a good range for hyterprophy. Oh, and the go eat some more. So, are you eating yet? No? Well go eat.

It has already pretty much been said. But just make sure you are eating right and enough, as well as getting enough sleep and have a solid workout program to follow.
