So I just tried measuring my BF% with a caliper and I got slightly different numbers every time I did a reading so maybe I'm not using it properly or something...
The readings I got were: 8, 8.5, 11, 11.5, 9.5, and 13.5
If you average those numbers it comes out to 10.3% BF which seems a little low, I feel like I should look more ripped if I was around 10%
If anyone is good at estimating BF% from looking at pics then I'd appreciate if you could tell me where I'm at. I'm 5'9" and 180.5 lbs
I'm prob. going to spend the next 2-3 months cutting because I hate having that extra fat around my stomach and I feel like I'd look a lot better without it, then after I get my BF% lower I was going to clean bulk and focus on putting on some size. Your thoughts?

I also think 15% is probably more realistic.
For caliper testing you really need to have good calipers and experience to have a shot at being accurate.
I use these;

But more importantly, I am really consistent with my measurements. I was fortunate some time ago in that I lived next to a university where I had a handful of hydrostatic tests (underwater test with 1% margin of error) and was able to match it up to my caliper tests.
Without good calipers and consistency, you are all over the board.Semper Fidelis
