I have a problem. I bought frozen blueberries at the supermarket a good price but they're in a plastic bag. I do not like plastic bags because of plasticizers and stuff like that which aren't healthy and can migrate into food especially when the food is liquid or moist which the berries are, even though they are frozen. The surface on the inside of the bag is slightly covered with blue juice. Now I don't know if stuff from the plastic could migrate into the berries.
I thought about rinsing them with some cold water before eating them but the problem is that when I rinse the frozen berries they directly start to leak. The whole water directly turns blue this means that it's not possible to wash the berries without somehow hurting them. Now I don't know what's better to rinse or not to rinse. What do you think?

Do you know where those berries come from? Do they come from protected farms with fences? I mean what if they come from the forrest where foxes run around and crap on the berris? Foxes can have very dangerous fox tapeworms which do not get killed by coldth only by heat and since I don't heat the berries I wonder how dangerous it is to eat blueberries.

Potential epic thread.
No brain, no gain.
"The fitness and nutrition world is a breeding ground for obsessive-compulsive behavior. The irony is that many of the things people worry about have no impact on results either way, and therefore aren't worth an ounce of concern."--Alan Aragon
