I'm using a tool from my local supermarket that allows me to calculate my protein, fats, and carbs.
I'm trying to work out a diet plan of 2000 calories, and 150g of protein which is in accordance to my current weight.
So far my total for tomorrow is:
Calories = 2045
Protein = 150.4g
Fats = 38.5g
Carbs = 295.8g
My question is, would it be ok to have 295g of carbs to efficiently lose weight?

The amount of a particular macro doesnt influence fat loss.
Its your overall calorie intake and being in a consistent calorie deficit.
Not sure what your stats are, I would drop carbs and increase healthy fats (0.4-0.5g per pound of bodyweight).BRAINS & GAINS
Strong Mind + Strong Body = UNSTOPPABLE

Why are you eating such a small amount of fat? Cutting carbs is more important for shredding fat. Insulin (caused by carbohydrate ingestion) inhibits lipolysis. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/arti...f/10191258.pdf
And with that amount of fat your hormones will suffer. 17% of calories from fat is not enough

id have to agree, i dont know what you were eating before, but im guess if your wanting to lose weight, 2000 calories is less than you were on. If you were to drop 500 calories per day from your diet, each week that would equate to about 1-2lbs of weight loss.
also the calories you have from your planned diet are also wrong, with them exact protein/carb/fat intakes your calories per day are actually 2131.3, you may of just entered one of the numbers, or the website your using has got them wrong.
besides that, im only eating about 250g of carbs at the minute, and thats helping me gain weight, cut back the carbs, get some good fats in you and you should lose the weight.

Morning 0900: 2 Boiled egg, 3 toast with cereal
Afternoon 1300: Soup, 3 toast with cheese
