Will the doctors be able to measure my body fat and lean body mass and do they do it free on the NHS?

Get a bone-density scan. Besides measuring the density of old people's skeletons, it can also measure body fat % accurately, and I don't know about muscle for certain, but I don't see why it couldn't.

And the people who pay taxes pay for the health care, its not free, what part of that dont you understand, its socialized medicine, not free medicine
And sure, i would want my mom to use the resources if she needed, it, but if she wanted to steal the resources from people who actually need it to find her bf% or w/e, then no, i wouldnt want her to use it
And how do you have such a high rep power if your such a prick? You obviously dont deserve it

Bold- Of course i understand this, i live in the UK, my point is, (i'll even highlight it) His mum/dad grandparents and all family members pay Taxes to cover the Majority of all NHS costs , not all is covered, and i expect he will have to pay some money towards getting these things checked.
How is he "stealing" sorry, as i expalined above, he will pay thousands upon thousands of pounds across his lifetime for this cover, he isnt stealing anything.
My misses is on the pill for example, is she stealing it, fcuk no, just using what she pays for.
According to you, going to school everyday and writing on paper you didnt pay for is stealing.
Ill see you in 8 days.☆☆☆υк ¢яєω☆☆☆

I really don't think we should have a debate about socialized medicine in the tmisc, but I'll chime in. The biggest problem is that some people pay into the system more than others, even if they use it significantly less, or even not at all. Assume you were a millionaire dumping thousands into the system every year and never once go to the doctor, yet here come some kid and his family who go the the ER for every last problem, every little thing they want check, his gf and his mom are both on the pill, he is on ADD meds, dad is on anti depressants, and mom is on anti anxiety meds all the while the family contributes virtually nothing to the system because they are poor.
THAT in my opinion is stealing. They are milking the system that they don't really pay for, while someone else foots the bill.

Even the millionaire forking out thousands in a year, that money goes to many things not just the NHS. The poor family probably used something like 0.00001 penny from that millionaire. I guess poor people who get ill should just die then, after all if you cant afford to get your cancer removed you deserve to die right?

Pretty much. Don't call me an idiot for having my own opinion. Everyone is entitled to their own ways of thinking. I do not believe in socialism in any form. I do not believe in welfare or socialized medicine. If I'm a millionaire I should be able to choose who I want to support. No, I don't actually think poor people with cancer should just go die, and the wealthy should help them, however, I do not think the wealthy should be forced to support every medical expense. You can break it down into .00001 pennies or whatever, but it's more than that and you know it. And I'm against welfare because it gets milked soo hard. Able bodied people who can work sit on their lazy ass all day milking it.
And if you would learn to read, I said thousands a year INTO THE HEALTH SYSTEM. I didn't say his overall money given to the government, I said into the system.
My point is, it's not right when people put more into the system than they use while others milk it for all it's worth while contributing nothing. That's it. You can't possibly say that it's not true.

People dont milk it. Do you think the majority of people get meds because they can, or because they need it?
If you get a sore throat. Do you want people who cant pay into the NHS to go, 'Well, seeing as though i cant afford to pay into it, ill just sit here and hope i get better. In 2 weeks time ill either be better, or dead. Oh well.'
You're an idiot tbh and you only negged me because you insist you're correct.

You think rep power matters? I'll go make a new account with a different username, all you have done is clogged up BB with another redundant user.

BullShit.
This thread was an example of people who would want to milk it. Here in Australia, welfare payments are given to basically anyone, most people who need them. Like a few of people I know get a few hundred dollars a month because they are studying in university. They spent this money on Alcohol in the weekends.
I'm technically entitled to some student allowance, but I work isntead of taking something I don't fukcing need. Most people my age don't follow this line of vision though.
Socialisation always leads to overconsumption while the general tax payer is being robbed. Distribution of wealth is crap, there are better ways to deal with this issues than giving handouts or free healthcare.
