    Question Knee injury

I need some help! I am about 12 weeks out from competition and I have injured my knee (right lateral meniscus). I was curious as to what cardio I can substitute that wont bend and rotate my knee, as well as leg exercises to replace sqwats et al.

ANy advise would be appreciated ....

If you just strained your knee, give it some rest for a few days. If you tore the meniscus...you need to get advice from the MD or PT since the extent of damage might be too much to continue any exercise at the moment.

Leg press and leg extensions will help to strenthen the quads without causing too much stress on the knees.

As far as cardio....ellyiptical maybe....even the bike is ok. Both cause knee movement but are non impact.
