yup drop carbs, drink plenty of water, dont overdue the sodium.

basically a ketp diet would do you well in dropping the water weight.

Unless you're in poor cardiovascular shape, middle-aged/old, and have high blood pressure, you should never worry about losing water weight. Water weight is healthy weight. Trying to lose it is a non-issue.

Focus on losing the fat. Keep your body hydrated.

And remember that water weight isn't exactly something you keep off. It will fluctuate over the day based on how much you sweat, drink, etc, etc. Carbs tend to cause people to temporarily bloat, so it is up to you to really time when you want them and want to deal with the bloating. But if you keep your water intake up and your salt intake down, you should be fine most of the time.

This also. Only when you're competing should water weight really be a critical issue. It sorta makes me laugh/cry when I hear someone that is 50-70 lbs overweight talking about their possible 5 lbs of water weight that they can't seem to get rid of.

If its really bothering you and want to loose some water weight just take 3 shots of vodka or tequila before going to sleep, the next day most of that water weight will be gone temporarily.
