Hydroxycut Day-by-Day Experiment
Hey all,
I'm new to the forums and decided I'd contribute some them.
So I'm a college student who's decently active. I play paintball twice a week and try to go to the gym everyday even though it's practically a hike across campus. The only thing that I had trouble was finding a decent review of this product for the type of people that are just average in the sense of muscle size and ability to cope with a rigorous workout routine.
Stats:
19 years old
5'7"
155 pounds
19.5% Body fat
I decided to try hydroxycut mixed with a reduced calorie diet. Now for this I'm combining theories from other supplements that I have read about before. Namely that HIIT mixed with lifting, in addition to days of medium calorie intake mixed with low are the best way to go. Currently, I do not vindicate using this type at all. This is an experiment that I am going to try over the next 8 weeks to see if this can work for the average joe.
Workout Routine:
M, W, F: 30 mins low intensity Biking, 30 mins avg. of HIIT running
From ripped-system: first session is 30 secs sprinting with minute rest repeating 12 times, second is 45 seconds sprinting minute thrity rest repeat 9 times, thirs is 90 seconds sprinting with 2 minute rest repeating 6 times
T,Th, Sat:
3 sets 10-12 reps on all
Hammer Curls
Barbell Curls
Chest Fly
Frech lying press
wrist curls
Delt Fly
Bench Press
Leg Press
All done on varying schedules to "trick" the body as many products guides support.
Sun: Rest
Yet again I'd like to say I currently have no idea if this will work.
I'm only testing the major ideas I found in many books and supplements to try and lose body fat and body fat alone.
Supplements:
GNC Mens Sport Multi-vitamin (two a day)
L-Glutamine (3000mg)
Amino-Acids
Hydroxycut
Mutli-vitamin is just a personal health factor. L-Glutamine is used based on the statment that it protects muscle tissue. Amino-acids are to help with growth of muscle. Hydroxycut is for help with fat loss.
In addition I am keeping my diet below 2000 on low calorie days, and below 2500 on high calorie days. This theory is taken from a book, basically you can't continually cut calories suddenly because the body will think you are starving it so "alternating" days with low and higher calories will let the body know you are in no way in need of sudden storage.
So lets begin the test:
From yesterday:
Day 1
Starting ramping stage of Hydroxycut. Taking half doseage to asses tolerance.
So far so good.
Took 1 hydroxycut an hour before breakfast. And 1 before lunch. None, before bed to ensure no sleeplessness.
Weight according to Tanita Body Fat scale:
154.0
19.1% body fat
Calories on day: 1956
Cardio Day
No nausea or headaches to report. Feeling energized and looking forward to seeing if this works.

yeah, its ok not perfect. I have one that does body water as well. So i balance the equation with that as a limiting factor. In addition to weighing twice a day. Which should give you varying amounts. Its nice cuz I found out when my body water % is lower than 55% I start getting headaches.

personaly, if u want my opinion, i really do not think that with your size you really need hydroxycut right now, i mean 155 pounds for your size isnt really that much, and i see that you are 19% bodyfat, but with what you do, if you put on layers of clothes w/ that you will lose some weight, i bet alot of that is water weight, but using the weight loss pill wont hurt you, im just saying at this point i do not think it is necessary, but i do like all the other stuff you are taking i think that u will do just fine, but just a suggestion, if your taking hydroxycut for the energy, lose that and instead take n.o. explode, it is the best stuff to take for results, it tastes really good, and it works really well, nothing compairs to it, it is the best take what i say with a grain of salt, its just wat i think

Yeah I get what your saying, Well Im trying to reduce the visceral fat. cuz the 19% is pretty much around the mid section. Pretty much everyday I've been trying to get closer and closer to that coveted six-pack. I know there's muscle underneath the fat, the problem is you can't see it.
I'm not just taking for energy, its more for the fact that it claims to make weight loss 4.5 times faster, with a workout out and diet plan. So I'm doing this in comparison to weight lost before I started this.
Day 2
Still in ramping phase. 1 hydroxycut before breakfast. 1 hydroxycut before lunch.
Still feel energized by it assumedly due to the caffeine. Workout was great today. Weight was normal just felt not so tired at the end of it all.
Stats today:
153.6 lbs
19.3% body fat
Lifting Day
1730 cals.
Looking forward towards gettin a good nights sleep. Two exams and a paper due tmr.
No nausea and not noticing any headaches or "coming-down" effects so far.
See y'all tmr.

Well actually I was trying to stay away from the mirror so that I would notice a wide scale change easier and I looked today. I have lost a lot of the weight from the obliques. Its pretty much doing exactly what I want it to do so far. The excersize program is easy to get into if you just force yourself for a week. The hardest part so far has been around 10:30 - 11 pm Just an intense craving for more food on the low cal days, thank god today was high cal. Lots of will power so far.
Day 11
Full dosing day.

Yeah I am amazed by how well its working esp. with some of the radical claims they make. It may slow down but with the way I'm allowing my body to have "excess" calories on certain days might keep it charged up who knows.

Congrats...it's working so well because you're working...just like they say in the disclaimer. Unlike me - i got through a bottle with little/no results, but I wasn't really keeping my diet/training in check otherwise.

The weight loss helped me feel good again. the low cal days are starting to wear on me a little kinda starting to feel like I have less energy, probably becuase I'm getting used to the supplements maybe the fact that I've been studying this entire week and getting a little less sleep. Needless to say Cardio workout today was hell. I'm going to sleep early tonight hopefully I'll feel more energized tommorow.
