They should.
-Cheap
-****ing tasty
-Packed with muscle building calories
-Convenient
You're always allowed to take the diamterically opposed viewpoint, and in this case I think it would be much more interesting to do just that. Plus, according to the newspapers ****ing everything gives us cancer if you eat to much of it, the key is moderation, as with everything.

Each evening I go to bed with doubt by my side and each morning I wake with doubt to greet me. It ain’t easy to live with that sh*t, but it is a part of the uncommon life. There are no promises or guarantees, only an untold future with no regard for your desire for comfort or security.

If you look at fast food just for weight gain or loss, then fair enough. But overall health, it isnt good. It's bad for you. (here come the flames and negs)
Its the processing of the food. Generally the less manipulated or changed the food is from man, the better it is for your health. With all the preservatives and other **** that goes into the food is terrible for you. Your body simple has a harder time digesting it.
And no way is it cheaper.
A Chicken duluxe meal in australia is around 9 dollars. Here in australia you could buy 1kg (2.2lbs) of chicken for that price.

Fast food is not healthy in the slightest...and it's the science that you guys apparently ignore that says so. Nutrition is not about whether food makes you fat or not - not even close. Until you realize that, I really don't see how either of you can have any say in a topic like this...
This.
And I don't think people realize the fact that the vast of majority of preservatives used are toxic to the human body, and many are carcinogenic. Nor do people realize that artificial sugars are literally poison. Nor do they realize that all the stuff done to milk to make it "safer" actually makes it far less nutritious and far less healthy. These among many, MANY other things.
It's amazing how many people will take any information as fact as long as it came from a "knowledgeable source" like a doctor.

Lolwut. I'm not saying it's healthy, I'm saying you're going to be reusing the same old argument that's been used and stated a million times. Pretty boring. Why not go the other route.
And can we be serious here, the people who actually have any associated health problems are also the ones who don't have any idea of caloric control, have no idea of an overall 'healthy' diet and sit on their fat asses all day.
How many fit athletes who intake plenty of micronutrients and are fond of a cheeseburger a day do you know suffering health problems due to said cheeseburger? It's absurd.
You can't make some overwhelming correlation between eating McDonalds and health problems in the same way I can't make a connection between Asians having long life expectancies and rice. It just so happens that a lot of people who do eat fast food lean an overall unhealthy lifestyle.

Experiment...
Have you read about the ppl who have the mcdonalds happy meal for 6 months & it didn't mold or anything?! Dude, I thought it was a hoax. So, I went & bought kids burger, kids fries, and kids nuggets.... Everything smelled like grease for 3 solid days... And now 2 weeks later, it looks a little shriveled up, but there is no mold... The colors r still vivid--the ketchup still red and the pickle still bright green. The burger patty still looks the same too... Reason not to eat #1: saturated in grease, #2 does not naturally decompose--I don't see how your body could digest it properly?!

That is the poorest argument I've ever heard for it...
No, the fat ones are the ones who don't have any idea of caloric control. The idiots are the ones who think it's not harmful to the body.
Ironically enough, there are very few people around who aren't deficient in at least one micronutrient. That argument is a no-go.
And for the last ****ing time, you do not have to be fat to be unhealthy. Arguing that unhealthy people have a lack of caloric control implies that you believe an individual has to be fat to be unhealthy. That is just wrong.
I assume I can lump you into the group of people that pick a source and it becomes the only truth?

Yawn. No it's not, you're just painfully arrogant.
I'll condense my view into a few easy sentences.
Is it healthy? No.
Is it going to have any health effect on someone who exercises and monitors the rest of their diet and health etc. Probably not.
Honestly mate what's your issue? All you do is argue in the most arrogant way possible. No one here likes you and no one can tell if you actually lift. And this is from someone who stood up for you for a fair while.

Then this thread is not the place to argue your point. It is not about athletes who monitor and perfect their diet. Regardless, any toxic substances are going to be toxic regardless of how the rest of the diet is.
My first workout in 6 months was Saturday. So yeah, I'm starting to lift again. If somebody's wrong, I say so, regardless of who it is. Yes, you've stood up for me in the past and I've done the same for you. I have no problems with you, I have a problem with your idea of nutrition and health.

Actually made me laugh for once.
Day 1: Deadlifts and Leg Extensions. Lul.
MrB1g, as you can probably tell, health and nutrition is one of very few topics that I am extremely interested in and one of even fewer that can piss me off/annoy me very easily. If I begin acting like a total douche when I'm talking about it, the easiest way to avoid it is to probably ignore me.
