i think the best would have been kroc or effording (spelling?) coaching your typical highschool football player to be a powerlifter.

but i dont really care either way, they showed powerlifters in a good light, and showed that anyone can train/compete in it even if your really small and weak etc.

Cause stereotyping as caused some to think thats how they are suppose to act. Basically they dont have any other friends (gay or straight) that are men, hang out with girls all the time (cause thats who you can easily relate to) and you begin to pick up their mannerisms.
Personally it annoys the crap out of me as well and cant even stand being with in a few feet of them with out wanting to go off on them.

I hate how everyone keeps saying how great it is that MTV is covering this. MTV is the last network I want covering it, and they couldn't have done a much better job of making PL seem completely ratarded. They took a skinny gay kid, did a push-pull meet, and had someone who is mostly a BB train him. Sure, it's made and all, but come on.

Hey, look at what MTV can do. They can take the smallest most insignificant thing (i.e. Justin Bieber) and blow it up into something huge. I would rather have MTV show powerlifting with the hopes that they can inspire some people to get lifting rather than have them show some of the other crap they play regularly.

1) Wow, kid actually got a bit bigger
2) He could have pulled more than 250. With some training, he could get to 300 in no time.

The only ones I don't really believe from the add are the ones that you can "cheat" on: rows, curls, bench, in which case he likely did them with loose form (like all those people that take hydroxycut lol).
